Comments:	Hello. As I mentioned, I had a miniature for 23 years. We had a tremendously close bond. Never in my life did I ever understand the bond between a human and poodle until I met Benji. He was two years old when he was given to me. I wasn't sure that I was a "poodle person" until I met him. He convinced me that I was his. Since then, I rescued two Chinese Cresteds that I adore. One is 14 years old and still spry. But I still miss my poodle boy. I knit and crochet dog sweaters as well as groom and clip. So, he'd be set up for life in his forever home. The Cresteds would appreciate him for his body heat. I would appreciate him for his huge heart and intelligence. I would love to be with a toy male adult or senior poodle once again. Comments:	I have had a beautiful white toy AKC female from championship lines. She was born in 1985 and died from cancer at age 10. Three surgeries didn't save her. One of the cute things she did is whenever the camera came out she would sit on her haunches and literally pose. We do not know why or how....lol. My tiny little male toy, all of five pounds was a silver darling. I traveled everywhere with him and he went to rainbow bridge at aged 15 four months. I never stop missing them. He was also akc. The male I have now was supposed to be a toy, but my biggest so far, a mini and he weighs around 15 pounds. He is not akc and he is a cream color and has tips of black on his ears. As a 6 week old he was black, tan, brown all mixed together and after his first grooming became cream except for the ears and tip of the tail. So maybe not completely pure bred. Comments:	We had two poodles until last October. We had a toy poodle named Teddy Bear and he was Champagne Beige color. He was a beautiful dog and my husband's best friend. He loved Teddy more than me. Teddy passed away, he had an asthma attack one night and we couldn't bring him out of it. No emergency vet would take us because he wasn't a trauma injury. When the vet office opened at 8:30 a.m. we were there waiting. Teddy passed away in minutes. My husband cried so hard it breaks my heart. He says he doesn't want another one but I'm hoping if we find one like Teddy he will fall in love with him. This time I want a female, Teddy peed on everything in the house, it was awful.

Comments:	I live on a small dairy in Tillamook. I had shown in 4-H a long time ago, and a mentor had let me show her pug dog in a couple of AKC puppy classes. Comments:	I have had small poodles since 1980 when I moved here. I have bred them and found homes for the rescued ones. I then received one rescue boy that was a Standard and he was 5 years old and that was where I lost my heart. I had dogs all my life and never knew what poodles were like and Standards go beyond that. It's hard to explain. I lost that poodle to cancer and thought ok no more I can't do this but lo and behold here comes Ebonee. I got her out of Oregon and am planning on breeding her but what a dog. I swear she talks. Comments:	I absolutely Love my "Sally" (Sally's Sovereign Sue). She is the sweetest dog! She recently was my traveling campanion on a road trip from Washington (state) to Colorado and back again. It was her first long trip via car...staying in hotels, etc. During the entire trip everyone we came in contact with commented on her "regal stride" and marvelous disposition....I think I even converted a few of Sally's admirers into becoming Standard Poodle owners too! :) Sally lives with a friend...a Greyhound mix (Kahluha)...also a very nice, sweet dog. Because Kahluha is getting older, I am looking for a Standard Parti Poodle puppy. I'm hoping to acquire one before Kahluha leaves this earth so the puppy will have TWO excellant role models to learn from...thus my interest in the Kandyland Poodle site. Anyway, to anyone considering a Standard...take it from me, you won't regret it if you do aquire one. :))

You can find those types in an alley or something. If you are thinking about getting poodle, they are awesome, but you need to remember that they are dogs, no matter how much they may act like they are little 4 year olds in doggy suits.
