this is called black folks Course hair, dark eyes, and pigmented skin with the power from GOD, hatred, and oppression held with in. Kidnapped with shackles, stolen and sold to people in another country Since the first time on this earth we were the first to be free were raised to be kings and queens not no strung out dope fiend now we beg and plead on our knees to be free but we still hold our self back with that gangsta scene wondering y we praying to our God to release us from our sin from just a few words we now know the cause for the hatred within Now you know im talking about BLACK FOLKS Once free we still had problems some shooting some robbin with a plan to divert that other man But know matter what we did still confritations with the KU Klux Klan No matter what we still over came Mr Dubois, Malcom X, and Mr. King to name a few My favorite to talk about Nat Turner, now you know that he was a fool Over thhe years things changed indeed it started getting a llitle better even though growing up in the bottoms, slums, projects, or where ever we still kicked it with parties, cookouts, and church to give us pleasure Im still talking about BLACK FOLKS Bar-b-ques, fish fries, and fallen asleep under shade trees until to much peace came from us and now were and epedemic; at least that is what they studied.some way some how we got away from our roots in the 80's it was bad sex, murder, and drugs and our own people we'd shoot there is one great man that i am thakful for Jesus Christ u know i said man not spirit he tried to let us know another man tried tried to show us through Roots Queen the problems of oppression is what he wanted us to see on the screen if you saw it you know what happened i hoped it wised you up a little bit but still with the hard heads we still heard bullets spit Yeah you guessed it im still talking about black folks. After this long talk and my change for the better i want to do something positive by spittin verbs and adverbs to brings us together i see many mothers and fathers who want the best for their child if we start trying to do the right thing we will have peace for a little while it will stop our babies from having babies stop the murder and drugs Instead of the fist fights lets try to make it hugs You can find wisdom from our young grey haired saints That grey is wisdom just ask them if you think it aint so lets change our ways i have tried to pass on the key well it is what opened up my mind and added change to me. HELLO ALL!!! yall know how i like to keep you all posted on my the poetry side of my life...first off....got moved back to TEXAS..wich by the way was tiring....(and long)...jumped back in my spoken word scene(UNDER 1 ROOF)did my thang tonight(aug 17th)feel pretty good....thank you vernique for being there and showing support...to the rest of you...thank you all for showing love here via my page....its really hard work even though it doesnt seem to be...out of the event tonight...decided to enter my self onto the KILLEEN SLAM TEAM...or what not...its really locals that compete in different areas of TX...(i take it each city is a team)and many well known artist atend...(HBO's DEF POETRY SLAM artist) looking forward to that...i think im feelin my call'n..not sure yet... but on the up and up all is well....AMY..your not a bad friend mama...your all the way in GERMANY....give yourself a break....
