Comments:Hey Lucy!
I decided that I would come and check out your website : ) Very cool! Writing books must be so exciting for you....I certainly enjoy reading books and am SO thankful for every author, even if I haven't read any of their work yet ; ) I realize how much time, energy, and sweat(!) has gone into each and every book. So, thank you for being a writer, the world needs more people like you(there can never be too many authors!)!
Thanks!
Hannah

Comments:Hi Lucy,
We are the registrars for the Romance Writers of Australia Conference 2009. We have received your registration but have been unable to send you a confirmation email because it keeps bouncing using the address that seems to be on the form (sometimes it's hard to read the writing accurately). I've made several adjustments to the addy but still no luck. Could you please email me at the above address so that I have an addy that works when it comes time to send out detailed receipts.
Thanks,
Louise and Lisa

What a treat to read in your blog about your affection for my Branigan brothers series! (The most fun this writer has had on paper. :) That my books made you try cranberry juice must be a first.

I tried to post a blog comment but I don't have an account and you don't have open access so hope this reaches you.

All best for the new year from coastal Massachusetts, USA, where the crop is still going strong.

Thanks, in anticipation.

I recently visited your web-site and was inspired with all your success as a romance writer.

I am also a writer who is still practising the craft of writing.

Can you give me some tips on what appeals to the public in terms of romance fiction?

Also what do you think appeals to the publishers to get a book contract?

Many Thanks, Georgia

Im now just about to start my 5th week of 6 weeks of Radiation treatment for breast cancer and so have finally got time to try and catch up on my reading. I spend Mon-Fri at Greenhill Lodge and I`ve got to tell you the SA Cancer Council do a marvelous job, it`s a terrific place to stay.
I got to page 15 of the book and I quote "`Hey by the way,` Billy yelled, `the creek`s flooded. Can`t get through to Moonta" hey wait a minute I live in Moonta back up here, yes it says "Can`t get through to Moonta" oh boy we`re famous!!! There`s a book written about us, well its not quite us but close!
Lucy I loved the book but then I love all your work but now this one is much more special to me. Thank you for writting about us and about the other places in SA too. Keep up the great work. Have a beautiful blessed Christmas and a wonderful 2008.

Im way behind with my reading as Ive already had one overseas trip this year to California for a friends daughters wedding which was beautiful and tomorrow I head of to New Zealand for Christmas, New Year and my 60th birthday. Ive been getting H M&B books sent to me each month for 11 years now and it still amazes me how all the authors come up with such diverse and interesting stories. Ive just finished "A Knight To Hold On To" and once again the story is so very different. I love reading about Oz but also about other parts of the world too and it doesnt seem to matter where you all reside you can come up with such interesting ideas. Keep up the great work

Comments:I just finished reading your books "Crisis at Katoomba Hospital" and "Coming Home to Katoomba". I truly enjoyed reading both of them. I loved the way you kept Stephan and Stephanie interwined in both books. The way you wrote their conversations, from both persectives in each book, was ingenious. I have read series books before, but never like yours. Most series just give a little background from the previous book, but the way you did yours was truly amazing.

You even make me wish I could travel to Australia to visit the places mentioned in your books. Well, dreams are one of the reasons I think women read romance novels.

I plan to continue purchasing your books from Harlequin, here in the USA.

Thanks for such an enjoyable READ.

Zenda

Well done on your site, it looks marvellous. I think there should be a links page to fellow Church of Joss devotees, though. Please consider such an option. Or, maybe, a website should be developed. . . hmm.
Anyhoo, keep up the good work! I really enjoyed the Dr Cusaak book (where do I know that name from??) and look forward to the next one! (apparently, there is this crazy character based on a real life person . . .)

re what you wrote about the Hero - please don't forget the glorious Liam Neesom - he and Pierce and Colin Firth are perfect as Hero material. Then there is the lovely man who i occasionally have seen walking in the city... and then there is that man i saw once at the theatre. Not forgetting that man at the airport... Not forgetting that alpha male in full flight recently at the supermarket. Just ask Wendy -she knows i always have my eyes open looking for Hero material. The way they walk, the way they move. How well they move. Then the voice. How they conduct themselves. what they wear... You can see i do listen to all the tips and clues!! LOL
Keep up the good work thank you Lucy

Comments:Dear Lucy, I found your website both pretty and informative. I have been reading medical romances for over a decade. Why? I love them. And I'm a nurse and I'm an author as well. They're a nice fit, besides I can't seem to be without one. I just read Emergency Doctor in Need and enjoyed it tremendously. The emotion is true and well done. Besides I love reading about Australia. My husband and I nearly homesteaded there, but settled in the US in Arizona. Thank you so much for such a good read.

This evening she has already rung me all excited - she could not even put it down while cooking dinner for the family - she says if she'd realised how engrossing it was going to be she would have grabbed pizza for the family on the way home ! She is now back with the book after our call - she tells me the family have to wash the dishes tonight for a change! She's too busy.
