[ Or not. Check your sources. [http://heasarc.nasa.gov/docs/cosmic/earth_info.html] states "The Earth is actually slightly flattened. The measured circumference around the equator is 40,075 km". and 40 075 kilometers = 24 901.4505 miles. Thanks for scaring me into thinking I might have got it wrong though. | Comments: | kona.kontera.com ==> Thank you for posting the info implicating this site with OuterInfo.
Question: How/where did you find the info with assafa's name attached to the description of the instruction download sequence? To me as a lay person, this seems to be pretty incriminating stuff. I am to the point of hauling some people/ companies to court over their continued criminal trespassing into my computer and this kind of evidence might help persuade a judge about the validity of my claims. 2-Jul-07 @ 1145 CDT: A Kontera spokesman told me that they do not in any way install software without permission. Well, I found evidence this morning to the contrary: kona10.kontera.com, te100.kontera.com, kona.com, and biz1071.railmachina.com hit me all at the same time at a web site where I had experienced intrusions from Command Desktop Services (command.exe etc). Another intrusion came when visiting, of all places, CareerBuilder.com, and hit by errorsafe.com, winantivirus.com, setuphost.vo.llnwd.net, stats1.releablestats.com, dynamique.reliablestats.com, tacoda.net. Not surprisingly, Brad Taylor at railmachine.com would not disclose to me who or what biz1071.railmachina.com is about. Something tells me this may be the source of the malware download. Thank you for your time, l Over the last 3 weeks, these sites have required more than 120 hrs of my time to piece my computer Humpty Dumpty back together again |

| Comments: | Wanted to comment on your pvr-150 review. Sure, the nanopeg editor doesn't work, but the multi-trim function inside ULEAD Moviefactory is alot better than you'd think. It doesn't re-encode, even if it says it is (it can't within the time frame given), and cuts very nicely on the right scenes with the right audio.
In fact, the interface is also alot more useful, letting you quickly set jump-increments (I use 1min for jumping through program, then 22 seconds for jumping through commercials, and smaller for focusing on transitions). In fact, with my pvr-150, recording programs at 6k constant bitrate, I can fit 90minutes (2 hours without commercials) on a dvd, in really excellent quality. |

| Comments: | sorry guy, but the "s" in s-video does not stand for "super" it stands for "seprated"video the is a comon mistake that comes from the S-VHS format in this case the "s" does mean super as in super-video head standard
[Hmmm.. good to know! Can you provide a technical reference? It may be possible that it originally stood for "separated" but came to mean "super" just through common usage, yes? I.e. "S-video, originally 'Y/C video signal' or 'separated video . . ." see for example link Note, for example, this 1997 tech doc from National Instruments also equivilates S-Video with SVHS. It could be that it was intended to mean "Y/C separated video" but was simplified to 'Super' since it was used primarily for SVHS and Hi-8? -Lyberty |

Then you realise- if you can do it in there- you can do it out here- some of it anyway. There is a trick to it though- the dimension of expression. |

[ snowleopard- The authors of this article wish to remain anonymous. The article is reprinted here without attribution to honor this wish. I believe that the choice of anonymity is based on the desire that the CONTENT of the essay not be obscured by associating it with a person or group. This approach is typically done to avoid prejeduces or preconceptions. In other words, who wrote it is not important; what is says is important. Similarly, the authors deliberately left "FC" undefined. However, I can tell you that this essay serves as a public declaration of the principles, policies, and intentions of the FC. | Comments: | I was very confused a lot. Sometimes I didn't know what to do. Then Sparks told me what I was supposed to do after I had already figured out how to do it on my own. I also thought it was too short my first time through. Maybe if I had beated Seraph the game would have gone on longer. Also, in the Chateau when I played Ghost I was supposed to go downstairs and help Niobe. But when I was Niobe, I was supposed to go downstairs and help Ghost. I didn't like having to play the downstairs section twice. And I got confused. I started playing Niobe and got to Persephone's Bedroom and then I started playing Ghost. But I couldn't figure out how Niobe got downstairs in the first place. And now I'll never know because when I went back to Niobe it was Ghost that needed saving, but how did he get downstairs? I didn't like having to play so many sections twice, as both characters. And in the sewer, where did Ghost go while Niobe was helping all the other people? And where did Niobe go while Ghost was helping all the people? There are just too many unanswered questions. And how come it didn't take as long for Niobe to get through the Post Office as it did for Ghost? It was a lot easier to get Niobe through the Post Office than it was for Ghost. Ghost had to take the big elevator up to the second floor, turn on the regular elevator, go back downstairs and take the regular elevator up to the second floor. All Niobe had to do was get on a conveyor belt on the second floor and drop into the room with the package. Not cool. |

To add to your descriptions of the sources of character names: Niobe Niobe was the queen of Thebes, daughter of Tantalus. She boasted too much about her fertility and her 14 children (7 daugthers, 7 sons), and Apollo slew them all. http://www.online-mythology.com/niobe/ Neo Neo is an English prefix that means "new." Star Wars: A New Hope anybody? Trinity Trinity must be an allusion to the Holy Trinity. Neo, Morpheus and Trinity could be considered to be the power trio team that helped to save the human race. Morpheus Morpheus is the God of Dreams in Greek mythology. Supposedly the son of Hypnos, God of Sleep, and only sends dreams that contain humans. http://www.loggia.com/myth/morpheus.html White Rabbit Obviously, Alice in Wonderland. A Novel I have yet to actually read. Alice follows the White Rabbit down his Rabbit hole to Wonderland. Late, late, late, for a very important date! Zion Zion is an ancient Hebrew word meaning a place of refuge or sanctuary. It is also a national park in Utah. http://www.nps.gov/zion/ Jason Jason could be an allusion to the story of Jason and Medea. Niobe could be a Medea. Jason turns on Medea and marries a younger, blonder girl named Creusa, and Medea has one day to leave the city. She kills Creusa with her magic, and eventually slays her two children as well before leaving on a chariot of fire sent her by Helios. Jason loses. Smith Smith is one of the most common last names in North America. Agent Smith could be almost anybody. So could Mr. Anderson. I can't think of any more right now. Kind of neat, I think. -SG04 |

Also their looks to be a decode on the front of my book but i can't decode and ideas: HABXGWT7ZRZC7CIRS7KEZIRNL.
Last one in the end credits it gives u a list of letters, how/can u use these:AABBB AABB AB
[HABXGWT7ZRZC7CIRS7KEZIRNL doesn't do anything. All "DECODE.EXE" does is decode letter strings back into English. "Take Your Game Further" is the marketing line for "Brady Games": that's why they put it on the cover. If you want to make your own codes, just use ENCODE.EXE. For example: "encode red orchids"; you'll get the string "red orchids" back, now encoded. -- lyberty] |

| Comments: | Hello Friends. I'm so glad to finally have reached the Daniel Institute that I've heard so much about from Morpheus. I just wanted to share with you some experiences that you may be able to give me some insight into. I was wondering if you have ever heard of the Men in Black. Not from the movie, but perhaps a component of cult history that may have acted as the basis for the movie. The only reason I ask, is because I was "visited" by what I think must have been them in a nightmare I had recently. Actually, their visit was the entire nightmare. Now, I wouldn't call them agents - although they were very similar to agents. Their faces were totally featureless, and they were wearing sunglasses, but not the kind you would find on an agent Smith. They were more like the glasses you'd find on the Blues brothers, or something like that. Now, I remember one of them sitting across from me, very close to me, in what must have been some type of white room, with his hands clasped together, unmoving. The reason it was a nightmare, was because of the impression this entity was making on me. No words were spoken by "him," however he somehow communicated to me that his people or his kind were either coming, on their way, or involved in something that perhaps I was interfering with. I heard this electronic pulse in my brain, and it kept getting stronger as he went on. Also, the nightmare feeling that you get during a nightmare that really just sits there, no matter what's going on, this time seemed to come from an impression he was giving me that seemed to insist that they were in control of the situation, and again that they're going to be 'involved,' and that I was powerless to stop it, even though it was going to harm me somehow. I would even go so far as to say that "he" was really just threatening me, although it was done in sort of a warning way, as if this 'agent' was not going to be the one involved. As they left, and I awoke from my dream, the electronic signal had obviously gotten very loud, and was pulsating almost painfully as I opened my eyes and looked around. Now, I've only heard such a sound during an out-of-body experience that I had before, and even then it wasn't still there when I opened my eyelids and looked around the room like it was this time. I also seemed to know where they were or where they had gone, because I remember looking in that direction, with the pulse still going on in my brain (I really felt it in my brain), thinking that they had come from that way, were over there, and were going away, all at the same time. Then, the electronic pulse stopped, and believe it or not, I tried to get back into the same dream, though to no avail. It felt like they wouldn't let me. I've been able to slip back into nightmares before. It was definitely a visit, which was at that point over, because it was like there was no more nightmare to return to; I guess the nightmare had left, and in the direction I had been looking while I felt the pulse in my brain. Now, about the warning.... Not two days after this 'visit,' I was on my way back from Las Vegas, and I got my first ticket in about 9 months...For going 95 on the Freeway, even though the cop did not have a radar gun. I know this , because I have a detector, and it did not go off once as I passed him on the side of the road; which also goes to say that he was never pacing me at that speed. For about the next three days, I literally saw police officers everywhere, in places they've never been before, like the hive mind had just gotten some type of tip, or some untraceable orders...or like whatever they were doing all over my business was exactly what the Men in Black had warned me about. On the last day of the Administration Parade, they vanished...And I got into a car accident, which was not my fault (Sure, you say). I was side-swiped by a vehicle next to me, and I'll bet you could have guessed that I did not bother calling the establishment about it at all. So, I just wanted to know if anyone here has had a similar experience, or if any components of this experience are familiar to you. Thank you. |

| Comments: | It seems very strange to me that playing Neo is impossible in the xbox version of enter the matrix. In the B drive, there is a file whith all the characters in the game, the key maker, the merovingian, morpheus, trinity...I've finished the game with both Niobe and Gohst, and done the 4 minigames from Sparks. If there's no Neo playable then why did the game makers include an image whith signaletic things about him just as everyone else in this game? I find it very strange ...if anybody agree with me I 'd like to talk to them(excuse my english, I 'm a frenchie and never moved to an english speaking country so I apologies for all the mistakes in this mail thanks everybody) |

| Comments: | re: IVV
Q: How is investing in iShares S&P 500 Index Fund (IVV) different from investing in SPDRs (SPY)? How is the closing price of IVV related to the closing price of SPY? A: Both IVV and SPY are full replication portfolios that track the S&P 500 Index. Both portfolios are structured under strictures set forth under the Investment Company Act of 1940; the portfolio underlying SPY is a unit investment trust (UIT). This distinction is spelled out in a response to another query in Dr. Index's 'Question & Answer' section (See? It pays to visit the 'Q&A' section). Both ETFs are nominally priced at 1/10th the level of the underlying index, but variances in IVV and SPY closing prices often arise, due mainly to differences in dividend accruals and payment dates. Oh, another difference - the annual expense ratio for IVV is 9 basis points (.09%, or $9 per $10,000 invested) while that of SPY is 12 basis points (.12%, or $12 per $10,000 invested). Q: What about the IYY? A: Two iShares portfolios, the iShares Russell 3000 Index Fund (IWV) and the iShares Dow Jones US Total Market Index Fund (IYY), cover the broad US equity market, including large, middle, and small capitalization issues. The movements of components up and down the capitalization ladder between index reconstitutions aren't likely to cause issues to be booted from these portfolios. If you want targeted exposure to the value elements in the broad market, take a look at the iShares Russell 3000 Value Index Fund (IWW). Q: What are iShares? iShares work like stocks, and track like mutual funds. iShares trade on the American Stock Exchange, the Chicago Board Options Exchange, and the New York Stock Exchange the same way as shares of a publicly held company. It's easy to buy and sell iShares through any brokerage account. They can be traded anytime during normal trading hours, using all the portfolio management approaches associated with stocks (market orders, limit orders, stop orders, short sales, and margin buying, for example). But iShares aren't shares of a company; iShares are shares of a portfolio designed to closely track the performance of any one of an array of market indexes. iShares are offered from Barclays Global Investors (which invented index investing in 1973)-- Barclays Global Investors is the world's largest index investor. http://www.ishares.com/dr_index/qa.jhtml |

| Comments: | There is only one action that I would comfortably point investors to for an assured long-term beating of managed mutual funds, and that is that they play the averages and invest in an unmanaged S&P 500 or total market index fund. Both of these are offered by Vanguard, or are available as exchange traded funds, the Total Market Fund iShares (AMEX: IYY), or the S&P 500 Depositary Receipt "SPDR" (AMEX: SPY). |
