| Comments: | I would like to share a heart breakers experience that I am having to deal with. My most beloved friend and companion Ladybug, Boston Terrior, always went camping with my husband and I and has for the past 7 years. We took such good care of her, took water in the truck and her own bowel to drink out of. Took her to the vet for every little thing, etc. She was absolutely our child. Well, we went to another town with friends shopping for a few hours like always and while we were gone the AC switched off and when we came back she was taking her last breathes. I have never been so heart broken in my life. The electricity was still on but somehow the AC switched off. No one elses in the park had done so, only ours. We were so despondent when we recovered a little bit in an hour we drove the 3 1/2 hours home just devasted over our girl. I hope that people will know that this can happen to their pets while camping. Our camper is hooked up in our yard 12 months out of the year and the AC has never switched off. We believe it was the electrical outlet where we were parked. So everyone needs to be aware. I hope I didn't take up too much of your site. We did go this week and get two little Boston puppies but it will never ever be the same I don't believe. Thanks, Wanda |

We lost our Cocker (13.5 years we had her)in January and are not ready to bring a new pet into our home until the fall. We are retired and traveling quite a bit this year. We are long time dog people and have always had a dog or two or three or more. I have always worked with or around dogs as a dog groomer. We are going to be picking up our very first Boston at the end of March. He is a cute little boy. He is not show but has come from a very good line and his daddy comes from show line and has shown. I am about to become a member of our local AKC fellow dog lovers club. I am not working outside of my home now and so this is the perfect time for me. I am very interested in breaking into the show ring eventually.This is a new adventure and I feel that this will be a great time for us all.I am hoping to produce top quility winning Bostons,both show and beautiful pets. Our first Boston (Mickey) died at 11 years of age and what a family loss that was! We would like to get another one for ourselves next summer and are just checking out where we can find good breeders. Our Bostons are pets only - not for show - and we are looking mainly for good temperament and good health. Coloring or sizing flaws are not as important and we always spae/neuter them. Please keep us in mind if you have future puppies that would meet our needs. Our children are grown and gone and I work in my home which has a large fenced yard. I am looking for a puppy this time as the one we lost was a rescued little girl with many health problems. We are thankful we were able to make her last 2 1/2 years a great life. We had many problems with health issues and we thought she was overcomming all of them with that wonderful Boston will to live. We live in Douglasville, just west of Atlanta. Our back yard is completly fenced with access from the house through a dogie door. When we are not home the doggie door opens into an inclosed kennel. Our dogs have the complet run of the house but provide them access to the kennel to do their business whrn we are not home. Over the past 15 years we have had four Bostons We are unsure of the age of the one who just passed but the other two died in their 13 th years.
