Moved to Ontario in 1947.Spent the month of June in the area. Had a wonderful time.Watching the pics of Yarmouth makes me homesick. We sure enjoyed Lobster Suppers and hot lobster sandwitches. |

It looked similar to a couple of the B&B pictures that you have. But I can't remember the details of the residence except that it was very large in order to accomodate 20 or so students. Do you know if one of these B&B's used to house nursing students?
I live in California now but still recall how lovely Yarmouth was. Thank you for scenes of your beautiful home town. I remember Yarmouth fondly and your photos really bolster my memory! |

| Comments: | I stumbles across your pages and was intrigued by the name. My mother came from Chebogue Point and was a daughter of (Mary) Reynolds formerly Hemeon. I do not know much about the family. I know her father was Wilfred Reynolds. I remember visiting an Aunt Mae and her busband over 70 years ago in Waltham Mass. He was my grandmothers brother, with of course the last name of Hemeon. I am 78 and my memory does not go that far back and I can't remember his first name. I remember a Philip Hemeon. who was in the Navy. I was curious about the fact we could be distant relations. An Aunt Helen Reynolds lives in Arcadia. She might have more information about my grandmothers family. |

Though I am relatively young Yarmouthian, some of the photos were just amazing. My friend and I were looking through them last night and were just amazed by the architecture and the vast spaces of land. Being younger than I she could not remember alot of the land being just that, land. Great work, thank you.
