Your Current Ride:

Oct 5, 2008 Registration opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 9:45.
The police-escorted ride starts at 10 a.m. sharp, rain or shine!
After a light lunch, participants will enjoy a Celebration of Life program that features interviews with young brain tumor survivors—the Ride for Kids® "stars" of the day. Award presentations to top fundraisers and distribution of premiums will follow.
The minimum donation to ride is $35, but the more money you raise, the more premiums you earn. For each $300 you raise, your name will be entered into a drawing for a brand-new Honda motorcycle! For more information, call 800-253-6530.

Every day 9 children are diagnosed with a brain tumor, 4 of whom will die within 5 years of diagnosis.
The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation donates 87% of the donation to research and family support,
6% for fundraising and 7% to administration.
It is our goal to find the cause and cure;
aide in early detection of tumors; provide family support, and
develop new, less invasive therapies to extend the lives of these children and
improve their quality of life.
We hope to increase public awareness of the severity and prevalence of this disease thru
education and events.

For additional questions, please contact the
Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation at 1-800-253-6530 or email rideforkids@pbtfus.org.

Comments:I have been riding since I was a teen. This past year I asked my husband to teach me to drive. No was his reply and to take the course. If you pass I'll buy you a bike. Well a belated 50th he had to buy me the 250. I enjoy riding it but was hard to keep up with the guys since not made for hard riding on the hwy. Well I got the 450 as a belated Christmas present. I LOVE it...No problem riding yesterday and keeping up with the big boys. But I need some women to ride with.

Comments:I took the safety course in August; it took me all of 2 weeks after that to buy my first bike. I ride to work when the weather permits. My husband has ridden in the past, but is currently w/o wheels.
I am looking for a group that rides safely, easily and doesn't push. I'm still new and don't have it all figured out just yet. I'm just tired of riding alone....

Comments:I went to Central Texas Harley Davidson at the end of September to take the Rider's Edge All-Women's course they teach. I purchased the Buell from them in October and shortly before my 57th birthday in November I got my license. My husband rides every day to work on his 600 Yamaha. I currently ride with him. I stopped at your booth at the motorcycle show in Ft. Worth. I am still learning to ride but thoroughly enjoy it. I will keep visiting your sites.

Comments:Have only been riding since May this year and been looking ever since for a women's riding group to join. Very interested in your group but have a couple questions before I mail my application in. Do you always have your monthly meetings in Dallas? How often do you get to ride as a group? I live in Burleson and work for the Fort Worth Police Dept and ride my bike everyday to work. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks

Comments:I like your web site. I did think it could use more information about each of the members. What kinds of bikes do you ride? How long have each member been riding? Also, it says that you all meet once a month for dinner but does not give any ideal of where you meet. I know where the Maxim Motorsport is located. I live about 35-40 minutes northeast of there.
I am interested in finding some females to ride with. I usually ride with my husband and his friends. I am usually the only female with her own bike and a lot of the time I am the only female on the ride.
I do like your site. From the pictures it looks like you all have with each other and are very close to each other. Keep riding and have fun.
