Comments:looks like im the last one to use this book in a while but,

I guess my dream car would be a AC cobra 427, perhaps with some eaton superchargers for a little bit more go. id get my mate Jack to do the sound as he makes all the stuff to go in subs and everything, id leave it to him.

the car i drive at the moment is a Jaguar D-type repelica with a good old ford v8, its got two of my favourate make of supercharges, then at 4,000 revs the twin turbos kick in as they produce more powwer than blowers at 4k plus, i did all this mysel including putting a 6 speed box in, i race this at every opurtunity i can get in a vafue hope of recovering costs, im halfway there.

im from the England and would like to say that we have some of the nicest cars going and reckon all you guy (and gals) should get a brit car and make it go fast! most of em look a hell of a lot better than camaros or trans ams or what ever, plus they handle a LOT better! but of course the americans have good old v8 which go on for ever and seeing as the Cosworth engines and Jag xks are so expensive i'll stick to yank power plant thanks.

well i hope more people will post there dream machines on this site! if anyone does want some help getting a brit car and tunning it or tunning any car for that matter i'll be will to help out with my Jag kicking out 600bhp i know how its done and how to drive em!

Comments:My sister in-law was surfing the web and ran across your Dream Machines Web Site. What caught her attention is the name of your President- Dennis Fellers. As you can tell from my name above, that is a name very familiar to me, very familiar since my dad's name is actually Dennis Fellers too! I know there are at least 2 men with that name here in Kansas that we know of, it is neat to find another in our neighboring state. Dad said he is not sure if there are any relatives in MO or not. My Grandpa Harlan W. Fellers grew up in Clay Center, KS but the family also settled around Hays where there was a Fellers family Dairy operation. I would be neat to chat with you sometime, maybe we are shirttail relation somehow. By the way, we are very much into Dream Machines too. Dad built a Roadster when we were kids as well as several Harley Davidson Motorcycles. My husband is currently (has been for about 15 years) restoring a 1966 Nova, Chevy II. We LOVE classic cars and Motorcycles! So we thought your website was pretty neat, it would be great to see some photos of your Cars, Trucks and Bikes. Again it would be nice to chat with any of you, please feel free to reply to the e-mail address above. Terina (Fellers) Templeton.

Comments:I one a 94 Geo Tracker convertible, and Im looking for a
car club to represent in my area. I live in Angola Indiana
and do both school and work. With not much time to do
anything I need a club that I can either meet via internet
or not at all. Im not conserned with being able to vote on
the heirarchy of the club, just the fact that I belong. My
Tracker was currently in a front end collision, and the
bumber and the grille need replaced. I'm trying to go with
a godmother airdam (for a samuari if possible), and likely
to put a billet grille in if I can afford one, which Im
sure I can. Well enough about me and mine Im really
interested in joining Dream Machines, but I can't find an
email. Id rather email because it is much faster. And the
faster I find a good club the better.

I guess it figured I couldn't fire her if she quit.
I am now driving a '83 Ford Escort Wagon.
I have never driven a smaller car - on a regular basis - than a '65 Plymouth Belvedere II, and never had a smaller engine than a 302... This is a new experience for me.
Hmmmm. This could be interesting.

O.K. Contest time!
Come up with ideas that I can use to soup this thing up.
Keep in mind I'm a grade A certified cheep skate.
Who ever comes up with the most appealing idea that I can pull off will win....

Uh
I don't know...
I could scan photos of your car, up to 2 megs...
And post a page for you
Keep in mind, they do have to comply to the host sites
and will probably be limitted to 1 or 2 megs.
Enjoy!

Comments:RE: Can I send my article for the news letter through e-mail to you instead of mailing it? Thanks, Rhonda

By all means! Please do! That makes it so-o-o-o-o-o much easier on us! Neither John nor I would rather re-type something if it can be sent to us electronically and 90% of the work is done for us! I work full time (usually more), and John, though he is semi-retired at this time, is kept pretty busy. He's the one that does most of the news letter and flyer work. I do the web page (at this time - I'm teaching him a little at a time.)

I probably should state here, that no matter how anything comes in, it is still subject to the approval of voting officers. As it should be, after all, most reasonable publications have their editors, and yours truly doesn't want that position!

Space can be a factor in how it appears in the news letter. We are, after all, still subject to cost of snail-mail postage to get them out to our membership.

Articles are defined as information sharing prose... such as "How to get the best shine" or "Travel tips for cruises" and such like that there.

Columns are regularly featured contributions such as "Prez Says" or Joker's column. (If anyone wants to add humor, cartoons, or any little bit of fun, it will be slipped in some how!!!)

Advertising consists of asking for something, be it trade, contributions for any cause other than our main cause (Being Children's Miracle Network), or for orders for club T-shirts.

Thank-you for the offer!

HOW TO IDENTIFY WHERE A DRIVER IS FROM:

· One hand on wheel, one hand on horn: Chicago

· One hand on wheel, one finger out window: New York

· One hand on wheel, one hand on newspaper, foot solidly on accelerator: Boston

· One hand on wheel, cradling cell phone, brick on accelerator: California. With gun in lap: L.A.

· Both hands on wheel, eyes shut, both feet on brake, quivering in terror: Ohio, but driving in California.

· Both hands in air, gesturing, both feet on accelerator, head turned to talk to someone in back seat: Italy

· One hand on latte, one knee on wheel, cradling cell phone, foot on brake, mind on game: Seattle

· One hand on wheel, one hand on hunting rifle, alternating between both feet being on the accelerator and both on the brake, throwing a McDonalds bag out the window: Texas city male

· One hand on wheel, one hand hanging out the window, keeping speed steadily at 70mph, driving down the center of the road unless coming around a blind curve, in which case they are on the left side of the road: Texas country male

· One hand constantly refocusing the rear-view mirror to show different angles of the BIG hair, one hand going between mousse, brush, and rat-tail to keep the helmet hair going, both feet on the accelerator, poodle steering the car, chrome .38 revolver with mother of pearl inlaid handle in the glove compartment: Texas female

· Both hands on steering wheel in a relaxed posture, eyes constantly checking the rear-view mirror to watch for visible emissions from their own or another's car: Colorado

· One hand on steering wheel, yelling obscenities, the other hand waving gun out the window and firing repeatedly, keeping a careful eye out for landmarks along the way so as to be able to come back and pick up any bullets that didn't hit other motorists so as not to litter: Colorado resident on spotting a car with Texas plate.

· Four wheel drive pickup truck, shotgun mounted in rear window, beer cans on floor, squirrel tails attached to antenna: West Virginia male.

· Junker, driven by someone who previously had a nice car and who is now wearing a barrel: Las Vegas
