| Comments: | I had the pleasure of working with Trevor on the movie now known as first contact back in 1996.
I did special scenic effects and spent some very long and hard hours and he helped make a thankless and tedious situation much more tolerable. He was without a doubt the best thing about working that film. He was the most personable and professional person in the place amongst both the talent and the crew. I wish the hollywood lifestyle had not sucked the life out of him, I'd have loved to work with him on my current project. |

| Comments: | I'm a proud Aussie. He played weak, stereotypical Australian self parody's in films, which I found patronising and offensive. Frankly, as an actor he was a great boxer (and I heard he was a pretty shithouse pugilist) and at the end of the day he was a shitbag drug addict. I feel the early and untimely death of anyone is tragic, and I'm sorry he died too young, but he was a fuckwitt for taking drugs. RIP Trevor. Oh, and he was a Pom anyway (Prisoner of Her (His) Majesty);Aussie slang for English, not an Aussie, so I shouldn't give a fuck anyway. Just like Russle Crowe (New Zealander)only Russ is sucessfull (and talented). |

| Comments: | When I had turned 40 years old,I had written to Trevor Goddard,I asked him about his boxing career,because I am a huge fan of boxing;I,m quite good with boxing;and I asked Trevor if he could send me an autographed picture of himself,for my 40th.birthday;well,I had gotten more than I had bargained for,because not only did I get an autographed picture from Trevor,but 2 autographed pictures from him,instead;2 color photos;I mean 8 by 10 photos,and color photos are expensive;but this is what Trevor did for me!One of the pictures was Trevor in a nice bathing suit,when he was on JAG in Sydney Australia;and the other picture was of Trevor all dressed up so nicely,in a beige color slacks and shirt;plus a hand written letter by him,also;he talked to me about his boxing career,and he also told me,that Mic Brumbry,the character that he played on JAG,well,Brumbry,the last name,means wild horses in Australian.He written this letter himself,and it was a letter that I will never forget,and the pictures,either!Trevor is a person who is one in a million!You don,t get people like Trevor anymore;and I will always miss dearly.I will never forget my 40th birthday,as long as I live;and I truly mean that;for what Trevor did for me,other actors would not do for other fans!Rest in Peace,Trevor,you will forever be remembered by me;that,s for sure;I really miss you,you are such a great guy! |

| Comments: | I enjoyed watching Mr. Goddard in JAG and was shocked to learn in the memorial episode of JAG that he had died. He was a teriffic character, and I was unhappy when he left the show. It is sad the initial reports of death by suicide overshadow the eventual official ruling of accidental death. |

| Comments: | I only found out he died today. I watched Deep Rising twice again yesterday (lost count how many I've seen it),and he was my favourite. I'm so gutted, I was looking up on imdb.com to see what else he had been in and I couldn't believe it when it said the date of his death.
A great man who will be sorely missed by me. I will do what I do for River Phoenix and Glenn Quinn and dedicate a day for his films on the day he died. |

"The Lost World" was filmed in Queensland and has a cast Australian actors(so he was adopted just by being an 'aussie'). Minutes before I read of his demise -- the commercial he stars in aired in my market. I never notice commericals but I noticed this one. I'm truly sorry about his passing. |
