I am currently in Iraq and my fishing buddies say they will suspend their annual trip until I return. Our plan is to fish Fort Peck, sometime in May-June 08. I have book marked your site and intend on keeping up with local area reports to better detemine when the best time of year to fish their is.

Comments:Love to fish the great fisheries of the mid-west. Enjoy species specific angling in all weather. Always enjoy the oppurtunity to pursue many trophy species on a new water. Been wanting to go to Ft. Peck for 6 years now. Watched the last P.W.T., and forever caught the fever to see the fish Peck would offer me. Have a buddy that stays in Glascow 2-3 months a year. Can't tell you how many 10+ Walleyes he has caught. Every Walleye he has mounted came from there. I just want to see my Dad land one or more! I am an outfitter in Colo. and could catch fish anywhere, anyhow, anytime. With Bruce's Stories still in my mind, and with all the info. I have gained by watching Pro's and local Mont. fisherman---Tell me why I should fish with your Company when I finally get up there. My youngest Brother graduates from college this semester, and Dad is taking the 3 brothers and himself on a guided Walleye trip as a reward and gift. The last time a brother graduated, Dad decided on Last Mountain, outside of Regina,Sk. I was unable to go As I was holed-up in the Mountains, harassing the trout and pike. Dad was kind of disappointed after 3 days on the lake He caught only 1 walleye over 8#. The 3 of them caught a few over 5#, and several Pike in the 5-10# range, but all of that drive and expense. I catch a 15# pike about every 3 months here in Colo., got a 23# throught the ice last January, so it will have to be the trophy walleye that will make the trip worthy. Perhaps Mid- May, or the Week prior to Memorial Day. Most likely 2 days guided with you, then 2-3 more with our boat and on our own. Also would like any info on boat rental, my boat is a 15.5 Ft. w/20H.P.,it is not able to handle prolonged exposure to Ft. Pecks open water and high winds. There will be at least 3 of us, probably 4. Please help with local suggestions and any ideas you might have that would make the trip that much more satisfying. Peace and Tight-Lines- Brian Stegeman

Where's your favorite fishing hole?: Have Many!!!!
Comments:We are searching for lakes where we want to spend our vacation the last part of July 2004. Ft. Peck is one of the places we are considering. Walleye fishing does appeal to us but we also enjoy smallmouth bass and other species.

We are interested in hiring a guide for one or two days and then fishing on our own. Our boat is not equiped with downriggers.

Sincerely Yours,

Ron and Kathie Fry

Comments:I haven't fished Fortpeck this year yet with the low water and all but have a few days off next week and would like to come up to Hellcreek. With the changing water conditions I haven't a clue as to how to fish the Hellcreek area anymore. Larry Handegard said you were the best person to contact and may share some information, any sugestions would be a great help. Herb Stoick and I talked to you last year up there, I'am sure you don't remember us Laurel boys, hope to see you up there again soon --- you have a great website. STU
