Comments:Great research! I am descended through John Wesley Jenkins(3 Samuel, 2 Enoch, 1 John). John Wesley Jenkins is my grandfather. I continue to try to research the Jenkins, Ayers and Jackson families but it seems the trail ends in Wood and Ritchie Counties. I am going to the State Library of Virginia to research the land tax records and the personal tax records of Harrison County to see if there are any additional clues.

Comments:Gee, Danny.... I am amazed. You have done a fantastic job. I don't have the patience to do that kind of research. I love the footwork: running through the cemeteries, visiting the courthouses and listening to our elders tell their stories. But now I realize, the elders are fast fading away. Are we, now, they? Thank goodness you are recording all this information. I only hope that my grandchildren will remember the stories I tell them about their ancestors. Keep up the great work and stay in touch. Cousin Bonnie.

Comments:I am researching my paternal ancestry of Jenkins/McGeough. My father was Edward Jenkins born c.1903 in Rochester NY. He was the son of Charles and Helena McGeough Jenkins. Charles and Helena were married in 1904 in Rochester NY. Charles' marriage cert. states that he was born in NY and was the son of John and Helen McCormack Jenkins of IRL. Charles was a travelling shoesalesman in 1904 in Rochester. I know little of Charles other than I believe that this was a second marriage and that in 1917 he lived in Abbington MA and his occupation was Optometrist.
My father Edward was married to a Johnson or Johnston and had a son also I believe named Edward. He married a second time in 1945 to my mother.
I would love any advice or assistance in regards to this family. Thank you. Sheryl

Comments:Dear Sir or Madam,

Thank you so much for your interest in the work of the Special Operations Department of the Bureau of Associated Agencies. We receive many requests for information, and Mr Framis has instructed me to provide a general outline of the activities of the Bureau to everyone who writes to him.

As you know, international financial transactions are sometimes complicated by unresolved disputes. The Special Operations Department provides expedited closure in special cases. We work solely at our own discretion, and neither solicit nor accept solicitations from private individuals or organizations. In fact, we have a very strict policy about that, in order to prevent conflicts of interest. While our operations are not covert, we are not subject to auditing except by the UNHCR.

Our protocols for termination of disputes are widely regarded as harsh but fair. If you have seen our official insignia, then you are aware that our motto is "Shock and Awe." In short, we engage in summary executions where no other form of adjudication would avail. Out of respect for religious and cultural norms that prevail, we do our best to ensure that the deaths are as swift and painless as possible. We also pride ourselves on our perfect record of minimizing collateral damage.

Athough many leaders in international finance colloquially refer to us as assassins, this is not technically correct, since we undertake summary executions impartially, without accruing any personal, political, or economic gain. Should we deem it necessary to execute you (or your family, friends, or colleagues), you may rest assured that we will proceed fairly and impartially.

Mr Framis thanks you for your interest in our mission, and wishes to assure you that he will respond to you personally as soon as possible, now that you have come
to his attention. In the meantime, I will cross-reference all of the information that we have on file here about you at the Department of Special Operations.

Sincerely yours,

Mr Meta Syntactic-Wossname
