I have enjoyed looking at your gorgeous cats. I am looking forward to bringing a kitten in our new home early next year. We are building at present, my husband seems to think I am more excited about owning a Burmese than the house itself. I owned a Korat for several years, he was inside for years, we let him have some freedom outside, it was the worst mistake I have ever made - he never came home. I still miss him terribly.

Dear Bev,

We couldn't be more delighted with our gorgeous little kittens, Rosie & Austin. They are a constant source of amusement and are always up to mischief, but are so loving and smart that we are prepared to forgive them the odd misdemeanour. Thanks for raising such happy, healthy and good-natured kittens.

Best wishes,
Sarah, Daniel, Austin & Rosie

Hello, My partner and I are interested in the purchase of a Burmese and found your wonderful website. We have just recently moved into a new house and have a 5 year old daughter. We have both grown up with cats and now feel we are ready for another addition to our household. Karen and i were only saying how much fun it was when we were children having kittens and cats around to add endless enjoyement and enrichment to us. We feel Pet ownership is important for a child and under adult supervisoin teaches them care and respect for all creatures. Anyway great site and we hope to contact you soon. cheers Jeff & Karen - Paterson,NSW,Australia.

http://kotisivu.mtv3.fi/metsakansan Dear Bev,
I enjoyed visiting your web site (again!) and reading about all your breeding cats. Brontee stole my heart, what a beauty she is! If I didn't already have Nova, I'd be very interested in Brontee's progeny ;)
I'm anxiously waiting for the results on Jaska's and Nova's first date - hopefully we have some news to tell you and Janine in a few weeks...
All the best,
Tuuli

PS. Here you can find some pictures of our current litter http://kotisivu.mtv3.fi/metsakansan/images/burmat/ - not the best of quality, 'though, with my photographing skills.

Just thought I'd sign in and give my comments on Bev and our Mandalay Burmese Kitten, which we picked up in November 2004.
We purchased a lovely Blue Burmese male kitten in November off Bev, we named him Sebastian. Sebastian had to integrate into our home with our previous Tonky cat "Champagne". From day one he thought he ruled the roost, although Champagne was three times his size, he had the flair and confidence to woo his way around her to take top perch on the cat condo I built especially for the arrival of our new kitten. It was no easy job getting to this top perch, as I built it over 2 metres tall, with carpet all the way to the top and a 60cm square perch on top. 2nd day we had young Sebastian he figured his little legs couldn't launch him high enough to reach this perch, so his only way of reaching the height was to run vertically up the pole and launch himself backwards horizontally, grab hold of the ledge and pull him self up. Once Champagne had seen this heroic act I think she automatically resided to being the 2nd in charge.
She tried to copy him a couple of times back lost the nerve at the top of the pole.
Apart from this little story, I'd like to comment on the lovely nature of our new Sebastian, he is all we could have wanted and more, he has a perfect personality, was well trained in the toilet area from day one, has a great appetite, is a big sook and will curl up in one lap for 15 minutes then move to the next person for 15 minutes, he loves to play fight with his big sister, and they keep each other company during the long hours we are not home. I could not recommend Bev and her Mandalay Cats enough. It was worth the extra wait to get this perrrfectly balance kitten.
Thankyou Bev and keep up the great work

Your new web site looks really good. The last time I was here all the texts on cats weren't available, but it was now a delight to read about all your new cats - looking at the pictures of your cats is always a joy... ;)
I'll be seeing Nova again in a couple of weeks. In the pictures I've seen of her she looks nice as always, but I already know better than to think pictures could do her justice! She's such a sweetheart, even at shows she's so calm and sweet. Hope she stays that way and doesn't become too grown-up ;)
Good luck with the upcoming litters, give my love to your cats. Stay in touch
Love, Tuuli

I am enquiring at this stage about your Bengal Cats. I have just recently lost my cat to Renal Failure and I would like to get another one as I miss the affection that cats give. I have looked through your website and would dearly love a spotted female Bengal. I just have a question relating to the Bengal breed. I have a young baby and was just wanting to know how this particular breed of cat relates to children and also to inside living?? Also how much do they cost?? Just to let you know how we discovered about the Bengals, it was through Harry's Practice that we noticed how beautiful they were!! Look forward to your reply. Nicole Rankine.
