Maybe I am missing something here so forgive me, but I showed last night in the pouring rain and scoped the outside of the joint for over an hour and saw no sighns other than the name Elmos lounge indicating a Q -party. But what really turned me off was seeing boy after boy walk into the joint. I counted four women, two a couple and one who went in and came right out? More guys in and out.
Mind you I was early around 7ish to 8ish. I even walked up to the class and peered through saw a male DJ off to the left and a hostess who smiled and turned around. Grabed a menu no coffee. Needless to say I did not feel welcomed and went home.

There is a great event coming up on Fire Island for single women 30 and above. Saturday September 22nd will be a single women's weekend with brunch, speed dating and comedy at The Ice Palace in Cherry Grove. You can do a package deal for the weekend or just go out for the day. Q-Girls is sooooo much fun. I went to the very early parties you had at the Eagle almost two and a half years ago, and my how you've grown! I have turned almost everyone I know, that likes to dance, on to the parties. This venue (Elmo) is the best so far. I've actually done retouching and graphic design for Elmo when it first opened. I share studio space with the menu designer...small world.

I think you and your friend should try and check out Q-Girls on 1/27 and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. It’s a really nice crowd, nice space and the music is great. Karin Ward plays all kinds of things from popular to great oldies-very nice stuff to dance to. Lots of pretty and super nice women.
