I was delighted to see you as the Rev. Mr. Dobson in "Anything Goes" tonight.
I didn't know you were in the show but as soon as you came out I was nearly overcome by an impulse to sing "The mail's in! The mail's in!" I also spotted another NYCO veteran, Bob Creighton. It was a great show, you are an outstanding performer and I am glad I had a chance to be on stage with you. Best wishes and regards,

I cannot forget 'UNIT' and finding all the sweet and wonderful young people who made things happen for a very 'hidden' high school theatre! All I can say as I keep up with your events is "BRAVO! - BRAVISSIMO!"

Just checking in to see how things are going in NYC. Not sure whether you remember me, but I'm one of the crazy ladies that Bernie brings to NYC on occasion . . . (and who kicks you out of your own appartment while we're there!) Sorry!
Anyway, hope you're doing well . . . and "break a leg!" (OOOH that always makes me nervous!)
|Comments:||Hey Bill! Remember me? Michael Chimenti from GRAND HOTEL at Westchester Broadway Theatre. Several moons ago! I played "Ken Jennings", as Niki always called me. My daughter (age 8) saw CHITTY recently and I saw your name in the PLAYBILL. Hysterical bio! Love the website. Glad to see you're still in the game and doing so well. Keep up the good work and hope to see you soon.
I saw the anniversary DVD for "The Warriors" came out. Did you give an interview for the commentary?
I fly into NYC on Oct 24th and I see you have a show. I hope I can land a ticket for the extravaganza.

|Comments:||I was fortunate enough to be cast as the youngest Bellhop in the production of 'Grand Hotel' that Bill directed and choreographed in San Jose in 1994. I was just an awestruck kid, and Bill treated me so well and inspired the entire cast with his amazing energy, his talent, and his wonderful story-telling.
After the show was over, I wrote Bill a letter, and was so thrilled when he wrote back that I still have that letter today. I couldn't believe that I'd gotten to work with and get to know such a great man... and that he'd take time away from his exciting New York life to write little ol' me!
I'm almost twice the age I was then (yikes!) and, now pursuing a musical theatre career in New York, I still look back at the fantastic experience I had with Bill as one of the best of my career.
I saw 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' tonite and was thrilled to see Bill in the cast... and literally laughed out loud to read that hysterical bio!
Bill, if you read this, I'd love to get in touch with you... I haven't grown much taller, but I have grown up.

|Comments:||Lord have mercy on my soul! I had no idea fate would direct me to you (where was I going in the first place?) on the same day Howard Page Johnson and I called your name (AND MARK REINA'S) today on the telephone..hmmm. He said, "Bill is doing well--I don't think he's ever NOT worked a day in his life.." Then I had to say stuff like: Well, he's so handsome, and NICE, and TALL, and has those German blue eyes...and what a beautiful voice (are you getting sick yet?)....and pleasant.
Hope this is not too long...I especially loved the note from the person who said if he had not shared a hotel room with you 20 yrs ago he might think you were SOMEBODY!!!
All of your pix are wonderful, but you keep getting better older--not a bad deal. Since you're working all of the time send money for a facelift and Lexus.
Whatever happened to Wendy Laws...tell Tommy Tune I think of him often and how he used to go, "Good morning, Jenny Lee" in rehearsals.. Wish we could all get together in person before we can't.
As always - love. Jenny Lee

|Comments:||cool site, you handsome devil, you!
|Comments:||Have been thinking about you quite a bit, lately. Glad you did this. I let my website drop by the wayside. So much is in flux at the moment, that I thought it wd be best to wait until all my projects are solidified. "THE HOME" was published and is available online. Amazon.com. Being pushed to mount another show I've written. Two of them were produced and performed in San Jose in the early '90's.
This one, as the others, is a bit different. Looking for a location. ... How are you feeling now that some time has passed since your dad's passing? You are amazing, Bill! That "push ahead/fighting spirit" seems to get stronger with the years! Your site is wonderful. Much love, Claire
