Comments:Wow, these dresses are amazing, especially in the attention to detail. I've been doing costumes for a few years now, and one of the things I'm obsessive about is accuracy.

I hope you'll still be in business ten or fifteen (twenty, maybe?) years from now when I get married! I'm thinking Sarah's masquerade costume from "Labyrinth". ^_^

Comments:Your work is AMAZING! I was searching the web for a knock-off of the Satine dress from Moulin Rouge when I came across your site. This is the only knock-off that looks completely authentic! I wish I could buy it (but I don't have that much cash) because it is so perfectly...perfect! Anyways, I'm going to keep looking for a knock-off in my budget range, but I doubt I will come across any as good as yours. Fantastic job!

(particularly the Titanic ones) I've been looking for a normal pattern for a Regency gown that I could make myself, since I'm a special size and height, and even though I don't think I'll find that on your site, I just wanted to say that I LOVE your creations!

Comments:I just found your website and have to compliment you on not only a fantastic and informative site, but your talent and workmanship are exquisite! Thank you so much for sharing so many pictures of your projects!

I also love to sew, love historical clothing, and historically inspired clothing. I've got some good patterns to work from, a neccessity cuz I'm not too good at drafting my own.

I'd love to spend more time creating, but alas, the housewowrk munchkins seem to enjoy leaving messes all over the place for me to clean and I rarely get to venture into the sewing room!

Keep up the good work, and again, thanks so much for sharing so much on your site!

Comments:Your designs are wonderful. Since you are very young, may I recommend that you check out these old MGM videos: Romeo and Juliet, with Leslie Howard and Norma Shearer(1936), and the Jeanette MacDonald-Nelson Eddy pictures, Naughty Marietta(1935), New Moon (1940),and above all, Maytime(1937). These are designs belonging to Adrian, one of the foremost designers of the Hollywood glamor period. Also see the MGM film Glass Slipper, with Leslie Caron(1955). He ballgown is incredible, similar to the one in Maytime. Then look at Orry_Kelly's work at Warner Brothers for Captain Blood(1935), and Elizabeth and Essex (1939). And finally, see Vivien Leigh in That Hamilton Woman (1940).For a wonderfully romantic movie like Somewhere in Time, see Bette Davis and Errol Flynn in The Sisters(1938). The 1900's styles are wonderful, especially the ball gown. And keep up the good work.

Comments:Tracie L. Arnold is THE ULTIMATE GOWN SEAMSTRESS/CREATION DESIGNER this world has ever seen! To top it off, she is ONE HECK OF A GOOD FRIEND TO HAVE---both as being her client/customer, and the friendship we developed throughout the making of my GOWN!

Everyone was awed during my Wedding--I will be sending Tracie some pictures soon---AS HER FRIEND, and to show on her page, because she did not only OUTDID ALL OTHER WEDDING GOWNS ever seen in AUSTRALIA --- the WEDDING (WHITE) VERSION of the Rose's TITANIC "Jump Dress", she also helped me decide WHICH VEIL SUITED THE GOWN (being a Jewish Ceremony, I needed her input badly, as it is required for the Bride to have a 3-tiered veil), and WHICH TIARA SUITED BOTH THE VEIL & THE GOWN!

I am not exagerating when I say I HAVE RECEIVED monetary offers for my Gown---both from future Brides-to-be, to Bridal Magazine editors, to Haute Couture Designers themselves....getting married under a CAnopy with a bouquet Jessica Simpson COPIED from me (I got married BEFORE SHE DID! :-) ) using Tracie's sequins, beadings effect under the Sun, and tulle as the Canopy's "dress",
as well as the aisle's roman posts where a single LAVENDER candle is wrapped by flowers "imitating" the color effects
of the Sun to the crystals she spread so beautifully on the Gown---the only difference between my Wedding Gown and what Kate Winslett wore on Titanic "the night she tried to jump off the ship and met Jack" was THE COLOR!!

Tracie----YOU ARE INCOMPARABLE AND SAYING YOU ARE THE BEST OF THEM ALL WOULD BE AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!!

I HAVE BEEN BLESSED HAVING YOU TO MAKE MY WEDDING GOWN & both Yitz & I know we were LED TO YOU--as a Jewish saying goes--"Nothing is INCIDENTAL nor ACCIDENTAL in life!"

Comments:Hi!
Oh my god! Your dresses are just so beautiful. Especially the Titanic Dresses. My dream wedding dress is the one from Titanic which Rose wears in the end of the movie, when she meets Jack again at the stairs. The white one. So maybe I'll order it from you, but first I have to find a husband. lol. Really great work!!

But, somewhat sad that your not taking bridal work anymore. :0( It's okay though I will manage...lol...Thumbs up on a wonderful site!

Comments:Hello Tracie,
I'm a big fan of movie costumes and was very much impressed by your website. The replicas I've seen so far in other sites are quite mediocre next to yours. I especially liked the "customer gallery" section, the stout lady in the titanic boarding suit looked very fine indeed! My favourite outfits are the red bustle dress and the flying dress. Your vampire dress is also superb. I am quite convinced that you are the only person in the world I could trust to make my wedding dress (I am fussy about these things!), but as the wedding will only take place 2 years from now my order shall have to wait.

Sincerely,
DIANA RIBEIRO

Comments:Your designs are beautiful! I have been looking for quite some time to find something as close to the original as possible and your dresses are simply marvalouse darling! I would definatly like more pricing information regarding your Titanic dresses, in particular, the dinner dress and the flying dress. Keep up the good work.

Comments:I'm a HUGE, LIFELONG Titanic nut...long before Kate and Leo, I can assure you! Found your site while cruising for Edwardian gear for Halloween this year.

I'll be contacting you next year for (what else?) a Titanic dress...at least one, if not two. I've wanted one for ages and would like one I can wear (I'm into original Edwardian gowns, but you can never find one that's wearable, so I collect jewelry and accessories).

Enjoyed your site immensely - you do beautiful work. As I said, I'll be in touch with you next year.
