I also was SO glad I got to meet her (well, for two seconds, but I just wanted a picture!). My older sister thought I looked ridiculous asking for a picture with her after a group of young girls asked, but I insisted anyway, and Marla was so nice about it! Comments:	Just back from the big apple where I saw "Jane Eyre". I was totally knocked out by Marla Schaffel. Her performance was so gripping and compelling that I actually cried. And to be absolutely honest, JE, the book, with its archaic moral outlooks, isn't exactly one that knocks people out emotionally these days, its lyrical language not withstanding. So it had to be Marla that did the knocking out. And it was. It' mind blowing to see a fellow human being able to SING (gosh, that voice...) and ACT and speak the English Language so fantastically well!!! (Ain't her lines music to one's ears).
