| Comments: | I've been looking over your site further. I kept a copy of the original article about her transplants. I think it's just wonderful that even through her passing (we don't really die, we all just change form!) she was able to help so many others have a better now. I love the pictures Denise put up, they show a wonderful girl who really loved life---and any one of us who knew her in life knows that just begins to describe what kind of a person she was!
On your rememberences page, there are comments about when she shaved her head. I remember that year---it did look just comical, but that was the spirit she had, and like so many others who choose to sometimes express themselves that way, it certainly didn't define all of who she was---she was very much alive, and lived a full life while she was here. Through all of our efforts---yours and Denise's foremost, but people who do things in small ways like Julie and I, who even just talk about her---we will keep our memory alive. Julie and I don't feel a lot of pain when we talk about her---talking about her as she was while she was in flesh with us makes us feel better, not worse! Aimee was a great person, and her physical presence is greatly missed. But she is ever with us! Take care, Allison |

Infact, out of all the friends I have ever had, she was my Best Friend, the only one I never had even the smallest argument with, and the only one I regret losing contact with for 2 1/2 years. I miss her so very much, and know that she will always be with you. I have named my daughter after her, partly because of the last conversation I had with her at my home on the 29th of January, and partly because of the wonderful impact she made on my life. I thought there would be no better way for me to show her, than to give her a name sake. Aimee Jo Brown was born on Dec 4, 2000. One day when she is older, I will tell her what a wonderfull person Aimee was, and how much we ALL loved her. Loved, and sadly missed by, Julie |
