No one should buy a housing contract with the intention of making a profit. I am not denying that there is a large market for housing contracts...and that is what must be regulated by the HDS. As for Bowles, I hope you have a lot of fun there! It's just a big frat party, without the girls. I wouldn't mind living there...well, actually, I would hate it...women are vital to living and without them there would be no reason to go on at Berkeley...hmmm...but after looking around...maybe Bowles isn't so bad after all! |

unhappy with my draw :( Then to top it off I got #193 in the room draw...Lucky me again! But the point of the matter is that I completely think making a profit on all this is horrible and should not be allowed. If someone was planning not to get housing from the start, then they should not apply. I realize that there are some people who are iffy on whether or not they were going to get housing; and that is fine if they turn around and sell it. (But it shouldn't be done for a profit) So, I never had to pay any greedy bastards for housing, yet I know many people who had to fork over many hundreds but I also know some people who just had to pay the minimal fees. |
