 I have alway wanted to become a firefighter looking at this station has really made it clear to me that that is what I would like to do with my life. Jacksonville is a location I am interested in to do this.

 It is nice to see you guys woke up long enough to visit 10's web site. Oh and nice pic from the T2 fire. If you were any further away from the fire, you would be mistaken for Orlando's L30.

Last time we checked, L10 has to cross the river to put out every major fire L30 is at. The only time L30 crosses the river into our area is to swap out at the shop.

You could take a shopping cart and attach a ladder to it and you would have a better truck than L30.

Maybe when you get a fire, you can call Treg and he will build you a web site too. He needs an EMS-only company to add to his portfolio cuz 4 and 10 are too busy figthin fire and saving lives

 I find it rather ironic that you guys call station #10 "the penitentiary" because I am stationed at #10 in my hometown and it is considered a "punishment" station! Funny for me I was placed there ,however, I now realize that GOD only sends the best to #10 to prepare them to ROCK !! best wishes to all of the INMATES at #10 and MERRY CHRISTMAS!  My father, Fred Mooneyham, was an inmate here. One of the greatest and most insane Firefighters that ever lived. He used to drive the tiller and to see him with his big ol'
pythons, his wild hair and his glasses on his nose yelling for me to follow the truck still brings a smile to my face.
I used to live in Riverside and saw him walk out of many fires with a big grin and a wave. He died in 1992 in a horrible car accident. Taken way too early but not by fire.
I am sure he walks those halls sometime. If you smell Vista car wax, chili and Clubman after shave, please tell my Daddy I love him. If you have any pictures online of my Father, Engineer Fred Mooneyham Sr., Please send them along.
