Comments:I've have a '85 rx-7 12a for 3 years. I started great all year until last winter. I got it back from a mechaninic who found my nkg plugs fouled, so he replaced them w/ Denso's. Since then the ignition has to be turned several times to start in cold weather. Once the weather warms up it starts fine. This year I got it back from a factory mech. for a different problem. He found the Denso's fouled and replaced them w/ a hotter nkg than I originally had. Once cold weather came, hard starts came with it. I've change cap, rotor button, coils, & air filter. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Comments:I have a 85 RX 12A, Completley Stock, running. I bought this car as a project, and I intend on using this car in the future for drifting because the solid rar axle just makes the car brake loose in the turnes, and I love it. Future mods are a twin turbo JDM 13B, Currie Shortend ford 9 inch, better trans, fiberglass wide fenders/quarters, and of course suspension. I just want to say that this is only the 2nd vehicle that I have owned for over 3 years, and I have no intentions of getting rid of it. Best damn cars out there, period.

miles, second owner bought it when she had 100,000 miles, well she is not good right now, i think the engine has had it, cuz right now she is kicking white smoke out tailpipe and I have to change the plugs two times now, and she hasnt
gone anywhere, she has got oil on the plugs, eventually she
starts but then she wont start, she wants to turn over but
\no fire from plugs thats when i have to put new ones, and she is running real ruff like she is on only 2 plugs, so
i sure she has had it but any good third generation mechanics to give her a rebuilt engine? i am in los angeles
area. Thank you for your help

It has recirculating ball steering and man is it hard to steer when you are going below 10 mph. I want to convert it over to power steering, but I don't know if I can yet. So if anyone knows anything about that, I would greatly appreciate it if you got back to me with some info on it. Thanks.

Comments:Hi I own a 85 GSL-SE and am a totaly n00b when it comes to modding. I want to know how to put a turbo or twin turbo in this car. It has a 13B engine in it I don't know wether it is stock. If anyone could send my any ideas please email me I would really appriciate it. I want to make RX-7 a name that all of Oregon will remeber. Tired of seeing hondas take all the fame.

Comments:Nice website! Just clicked on it, trying to find a good place to get a feel for what I might be able to sell my 1985 RX-7 for. Can you point me in a good direction? I have no idea what it's worth other than the standard blue book price, but I am told these are very popular cars.

Any ideas you can give me I would appreciate, if you have the time.
Thanks!

Comments:hey i was just looking through the thousands of rx-7 sites and i came across this one, i love every bit of it. i have 2 RX-7's, a blue 1986 street driver with a water-ported 13B motor, other wise basically stock, and a gutted out 1989 with a 3rdGen 13B TT motor, i'm soon going to do teh single turbo conversion with a large core GT-R front mount intercooler. i've loved and wanted a 2ND GEN RX-7 since i was younger and remember watching Initial D during that time and was wondering if you had any information on where to get that kit, or another decent priced kit, or even fascia or lip, however i'm a budget racer, especially after the 3RD GEN swap, but any and all information is greatly appreciated beyond the expression of words, thanx, Ej
