| Comments: | Thanks be to the Lord for those that have paved the way for the first medical mission to Hosororo, Guyana June 21 through the 29th,2008. Frank and I are from Renton, Washington and were priveleged to serve as the "doctors" of the team lead by Jerry and Pat Veatch. It was a life changing experience that enabled us to share the good news of the gospel, as we offered some basic medical care, I believe we saw around 350 patients and there were 5 baptisms,I think this was remarkable for a small team of 13 total. Our only regret is we did not get to meet Steve and Colleen who were gone on Holiday. We can not thank Bob Bollers, Bobbie (our cook from Plaisance),Bryan,David and Crystal our Guyanese brothers and sisters who supported and worked with us side by side. Jerry and Pat were our gentle role models and leaders. We love them dearly. We Pray the Lord will continue to bless the work in Guyana and his people.

Thank you! Once again, the week serving in Guyana was life changing. The Kitty congregation, your excellent team, the hotel, food and staff were fantastic. Everyone stayed healthy. The Lord added twenty-eight to the church. My main assignment this year was personal work-Bible study teacher; although I did help with the Readers in the Eye clinic one afternoon. Rachel made sure we stayed hydrated. She watched as each of us our drank our water or gatorade. We all missed Colleen and Isaiah. In Him, Connie Hixson May 31-June 6th P.S. Greetings from Fort Smith, Arkansas. Thank you for a most exciting medical mission trip. (June 2-10, 2007) This was my first time to Guyana. I came to serve and help wherever needed, yet I received many unexpected blessings: new and lasting friendships, laughter, joyous tears, tender moments, excellent medical care, and a promise to return next year in June. The staff at the Grand Coastal Inn, Ivan and Bob, the van drivers, Basil and Margarette at the Stewartville Church, new brothers and sisters in faith, and the local congregation were so kind, thoughful, friendly, and considerate. I am fearful that some may have "picked up" my Southern drawl, as I was born in Alabama. Since I worked mainly in the pharmacy near the baptistry, it was an honor to see my new brothers and sisters baptized into Christ each day, and to join them singing: "What Can Wash Away My Sins? Nothing but the Blood of Jesus." The smiles, tears, hugs, and applause would melt even the hardest heart. The van rides reminded me of a ride at Six Flags. I learned quickly to sit near or in the back. Ivan beautifully handled the traffic, dodged the animals, pedestrians, and other vehicles to our destinations twice a day. I missed one evening service and a day at the clinic, due to illness. However, thanks to Dr. Steven Younger, Missy Blasdel, Nancy James, Dr. Michael Cole, and Jeannie, I recovered and was blessed to return to the clinic the next day, Thursday. At my weakest point on Tuesday evening I could hear the prayers, kind words, and gentle touches offered on my behalf, as my caregivers made our ways to the van, leaving Stewartville. The love and tenderness strengthened me. On this year's medical mission, I received physical, spiritual, and emotional healing. Words can never express how much I love each of the team members, fellow Guyanese Christians, and new believers. Thank you again Steve, Colleen, and Isaiah Deloach. See you next year. May Abba Father and Yeshua completely bless Guyana,Guyana missionary (which I have been told to go to Guyana;Plesaince and did go and was used yet I didn't converted someone when I went with Bill Day and Aaron Day in the early 2000 though by faith The one who plant and the one who waters are nothing but the Lord gives the increase. Kent Brown and other members are due to arrive this summer 2007. I would love to at least hold a brother and sister to be immersed in believing that that have the Gift of the holy Spirit, yet I have been working at a temporary agency and several employers won't hire me and ST. Anthony Heart Hospital and Walmart aren't hiring me back.I still want to answer to the COMMISSION. Could you write me or any brother from the Jones Church of Christ so that I can put Guyana Missions in my budget. My older brother Walter Taylor and hid wife Martrese went to Guyana with Bill before , would pray for our mother Phyllis Taylor she is living withe the Holy Spirit yet her temple has cancer on the lung.I'll keep your family in my prayers also.

I'd have to admitt that once my teacher had me pick a piece of paper with the country on it, I was all like, PPSSHH.... it's gonna be Brazil, but it wasn't which kind of shocked me and then again it didn't. Yeah, so I got stuck with a word and country I had never heard of, but now it's turned out to be a real fun ride and subject! I really love learning about Mashramani, other than the fact that it is very immodest. I think that's how you spell immoddest? Well I come from Idaho, Boise. Yeah.... Some years ago we did five years voluntary with a british org. called the VSO, we did three years in St.Lucia and two years in the Gambia teaching in secondary schools.We are quite curious to know a bit of your mission in Guyana.
