In the manga he looks fine...but then you get to the anime and POOF! Sano has some odd-looking, overweight half-chicken-half porcupine creature stuck to his skull. Oro. And to me (and my friends who are also Ruroken fans), that is the SCARIEST thing I've seen in all the manga.
