Comments:It's awesome to hear from people!

Do you know who hung out at my house this week? Nope, guess again. Nope, guess again. Give up? UMBRO! He called and said he was staying about a mile away! He and Jamie are doing well. They recently bought a house in Stillwater. He works on the gas rigs so travels every other week, she's a teacher in Perkins. They have Samuel (7) and Tristan (2).

As for me, Matt and I are going on 9 YEARS this summer! Seriously? No kiddos for us, but 3 dogs and 2 cats! We live in Fort Worth. I work at the federal female prison and Matt is a sgt for Arlington Police Dept. Life is going well!

Comments:Wow, dusting off this "favorite"! Awesome!

Bran-- you sound crazy busy. Try to take a moment to appreciate it all. How exciting for you!

Matt Pedersen and I will celebrate our 9th anniv this summer. Seriously? Seriously. I'm a social worker at the female federal prison in Fort Worth and love my job, most of the time.

Guess who just walked out of my door? Umbro! He's working on the gas wells down here and called out of the blue from down the street. His wife, Jamie, Sam (7 y.o.) and Tristan (2 y.o.) also live in Stillwater.

Suzie- we'll have to have a reunion at Joe's one of my trips home.

Sarah-- your kiddos are so cute!

Comments:Hey Kids

As usual, nothing has changed much for Bart and I. We are in Arlington Texas now. I have submitted almost everything for the masters program to UTA and I will hopefully hear in about a month or so if I made it or not. Keep those prayers a coming! I unfortunately hate my job, but I have currently made some contacts and I am pursuing some new avenues- YEAH! Bart still works for Barnes and Noble and the Floor Team. My social life has been out of control here, but I am loving it. I have been taking sewing lessons, scrapbooking, and jewelry making classes. I am most excited about next month when I will be attending my first ever Roller Derby match. Can't wait to see some girl fights. If I ever could be that cool!

Suzy- get me some pics of you all preggers and I want to see some nursery pics too.

Buck- have I mentioned how much I miss you lately? Starbucks just doesn't taste the same without you!

We still live in Stillwater and have been keeping busy with Matt's Electrical Company. Of course I get to do the books. I am also still at G&M Body Shop managing their office and writing collision estimates. Its a good job and I get to wear sandals and shorts so who can complain? :)
Brandi - Congrats on your wedding!!! I am excited for you guys!!!!
Buck - thanks for reminding us all of this site. It is great to see what everyone is up to!!!
Mel - holler at me next time you are home and maybe we can get together.
Big Hugs Guys!!!

Oh yes, an update. Spidey and I are still married (6 years in August)...with two kids, Jack (3yr) & Adelaide (4months). All are happy and healthy--couldn't ask for more.

Comments:Well, I'll be the first to reupdate on here. Let's see, I am in the process of getting wedding invites out for the big day, it's going pretty well, got about 15 out today, ran out of stamps! I'm making them by hand so it takes a little bit longer. Jerrod (Newt) is working in Tulsa at Tucker Technologies and seems to really like it. He designs tools to check oil wells (or something like that!). Of course he doesn't get appreciated like he should, but who does.
I'm currently in Edmond on my last clinical rotation! I have 2.5 weeks left of this and then I graduate on May 12 in St. Louis! I'm so excited to finally be done! I took my last set of National Boards last weekend and I'm sure everything went well. I will start my residency at BVA in Tulsa on July 2. Our wedding is June 8 and we're going to Trinidad and Tobago for our honeymoon. Ok, I think that's it for us for now!
Oh, our puppy was born yesterday! We're going to get a weiner dog after we get married and they were born yesterday! So exciting! Oh yeah, we're also remodeling our kitchen, what a bunch of stuff going on! It's kinda crazy for us right now, trying to start the next chapter in our lives! Talk to you all later!

If you haven't heard yet, it's a girl! We were so surprised, but very excited. Alaethea Ruth (Ali) is her name. You can see pictures on the blog.

I just got back from Catalina island with my 7th graders. It brought back many camp memories. It was fun!

Comments:Schlink - I was wondering if we would ever hear from you! I can't believe you're having a baby! And since I live in Plano I hope I get to meet Marc and eventually see the baby too, but I can wait till he/she is born! :)

Is there a way to attach a pic to this, I wonder? Then I could share a pic of Greg and me. I'll look into it.

Things here are so good. I'm on Spring Break this week and am just enjoying doing stuff I want to do. The school year has been pretty good too - I'm glad I made the switch to middle school. I spent a week house sitting/babysitting one of the 8th graders and her brother last week. It was a blast and I learned so much more about my 8th graders from this girl - I'm sure I can only believe part of it though.

Can't wait to hear more about what's going on with everyone! Miss you all!

Things have been going very well for me here in Dallas. I'm engaged and getting married in St Thomas over Memorial Day weekend. Then we are staying over to honeymoon for a week in St John. I can't wait! My finace's name is Marc. He is a wonderful guy. We are looking to buy a house sometime soon. In addition to that, we're having a baby! We aren't sure what it is yet, but will find out at the end of April. I'll keep ya posted. Love you guys and miss you! Stay in touch!

I just got back from seeing my best friend Leslie, who lives in Ohio....it was very cold up there. Talk to you all again soon.

Comments:Hi Y'all! I love reading the updates and finding out where everyone is and what everyone is doing! It still feels like just yesterday that so many of us were at camp in grungy clothes, playing wild games, singing awesome songs, and generally having a good time.

No babies for me either, no husband actually, but I am seeing an amazing guy whom I hope to keep around forever!!! We had a great 1st Valentine's Day together (I have 3 dozen long stem red roses to prove it) and just have such an amazing time together regardless of what we're doing. Hopefully he will come with me to the lake for the 4th this summer! He has a jet ski!!!!!

Anyway, keep writing and sending updates. Miss you all!

It sounds like the reunion already happens on July 4th weekend. I should know that since I go...

My herniated disc surgery (Nov. 4) is finally turning out to be a success. It took a while but seems to be improving exponentially lately. What a relief. I think we may be a very brokedown group of people. Maybe it was all the crazy games at Lutherhoma or Rat Patrol gone bad.

I don't have any babies.

We're not supposed to be having surgeries or hosting big get-togethers at our *houses* with our *spouse* and *kids*, are we? Aren't we still just riding out the school year, waiting for staff training to start? Time does fly.

I'm working an IT job in Columbia, MO. It's a blast. It's great reading where everyone is at. I'll be checking back in later...

Comments:Wow, there is so much going on with everyone, it's crazy! Buttercup and Swoosh congrats, I didn't know! For those of you who don't know, Jerrod (Newt) and I are finally engaged! He proposed 4th of July weekend this last summer at camp! We'll get married June 8, 2007, after I graduate from Optometry school here in St. Louis. Funny thing about that date, it's exactly 10 years to the day from when we met, can you believe it? Anyway, he's working doing mechanical engineering at a company in Broken Arrow and I'm in my 3rd year of Optometry school now. Starting in May I'll be on my externships, 4 of the 6 will be in Oklahoma, yeah! Jerrod has a house in BA so that's where we'll be for good after we get married. We would both love some sort of reunion and we will for sure be at the 4th of July at the lake party!

Hunter is 22 months old; he and Jackson (Buck & Spidey's son) are in a class together called Little Gym. I heard that Hobbes is having Gall Bladder surgery on Friday. I had my Gall Bladder taken out about 3 weeks ago; it was causing me to have Pancreatitis, which I was hospitalized for. All is good now though; I hope Hobbes' goes well. Hambone, I hope you are feeling better now. Oh my gosh, I feel so old was I just talking about all our health problems! Talk to you guys again soon...oh and we will be there for July 4th this "Hell or High Water"

Christmas is full of travel...Wisconsin to visit Jed's family (that would be my husband for those of you who don't know I'm married...for a year and a half now) and then to Kansas for my family. Comments:Hey friends! Thanksgiving was great here! I cooked my first turkey. It was a herkin 22lbs. It turned out GREAT! We had 27 people over at our house. But I only had to make the turkey and potatoes. Everyone else brought everything. It wasn't that bad for me!! I'd do it again. We didn't get to decorate for Christmas till the 28th, after our Thanksgiving party here on the 27th. I was bummed because I always skip the shopping on the day after Thanksgiving the the purpose of decorating. But not this year. Oh well. Our daughter Riley (almost 1) hasn't even touched the tree at all yet. Yeah :) We head to Nebraska for Christmas on Christmas Day. Don't know how long we are staying--maybe a week, maybe less depending how crazy my family drives us.

Keep me posted on a reunion.
Take care.

I have already started my Christmas decorating! I love getting the tree all pretty and putting up lights. I let my students help decorate my classroom this year - big mistake! They are attempting some sort of "door decoration" but all it looks like to me is red and green paper thrown crazily up. Maybe tomorrow they will finish it and I will feel better about it. Anyway, let's definitely plan a reunion! I would love to hang out with everyone at camp! Keep me posted!

Comments:Happy Holidays!!! This is my absolute favorite time of the year. Thanksgiving was a blast this year. Last year I made a potato dish that was half cooked and half raw! Sparty spit it out in a napkin and my brother in law (Patrick AKA poison ivy boy from camp) ate it and tried to encourage me that it tasted great so I wouldn't cry. This year I can say the meal went wonderful and everything was cooked and tasty. I hope everyone else had a great Thanksgiving and enjoy the holiday season. I think we need to start working on a all staff reunion out at camp soon. It would be a blast!

Comments:Is it legal for me, a mere non-camp spouse, to post? Just wanted to thank the girls for coming down and taking my wife dancing. You need to come down more often so that you can free the dance bug in her rather than me having to continually swat it dead.

Maybe next time the husbands can come down so that I don't have to be restricted to my bedroom. Pizza and beer (man fuel), NCAA '06/Madden '06 tournament, scratching itches, etc.

Oh, and can I have an honorary camp name? I feel so left out and have an overwhelming need to feel included- probably stems from some traumatic childhood event (like the one time I tried church camp, sat on a picnic table and had it collapse beneath me....I cried...and never went back). Or maybe just because the bad guys always call me bad names at work and I want one to boost my self-confidence. Whatever the case, I need to know the pre-requisite for a camp name other than attending camp. If it's having Jesus in my heart, I'm in. If it's doing hand gestures while singing camp songs, I'm out.
