| COMMENTS: | I worked in Palestine for about two and a half years during 2002 -2004 with responsibility for Jenin, Nablus, Jericho and the Gaza strip.
I met with nothing but friendship and respect in the Palestinian "camp", with nothing but arrogance, ignorance and hostility from the Israeli - from the airport to the local shop!! I pray to God that a resolution to the problems can be found soon. Perhaps when the Bush regime disappears from the face of the earth a step forward will be made, it is to be hoped that Obama has more moral fibre than the biggest cause of world unrest and deprivation. If not I can only hope that the leaders of China and India, soon to take over as the biggest economies in the world have a negative approach to the Israeli murderers. |

| COMMENTS: | My heart aches and my tears won't stop. On the news I just watched a small Palestinian boy, probably 2 years old, writhing in pain on a hospital cot, alone. His eyes terrified. Parents dead - and he's alone, in pain. No one there to hug him. I can't stand this anymore. What god allows this to happen? Where is the justice? I feel so awful that I'm comfortable and life seemingly goes on, while such tragedy continues unabated. How can we let this go on? I have no more answers and I'm losing hope. How very british and sentimental of her to choose the side of the underdog palestinians to support. Everyone needs a side it makes life so much simpler. I'm Scottish too but im not sentimental or cute. So stop the bombs guys. You earn no respect for it, rather the reverse. If you don't you'll just continue to get little british middle class 'cute but dim' girlies to support your cause. I just smile sympathetically for you and shake my head at that prospect.
