Comments:Hi guys! For those who may remember me or are interested to know, i've now just about finished off my 'sentence' in saudi arabia...(Riyadh to be specific)...after 2 years, and have now managed to accumulate the small fortune it'll take to get my CPL/IR/FIR multi etc...However, i'm emigrating to Brisbane, Aus, (where my family now live), and so I've enroled on a full time cource starting on the 14th of november. So if any club members are thinking of heading south to Aus, in Brisy, theres a great little airfield in the city called Archerfield that i fly from, open air space...'beaut' weather 90% of the time...and a cold tinny at the end of a days aerial fun! Gimme a shout if you need any info...Hi to Angie, Mick and any of the instructors still there i know! Hope alls well...will up-date on my progress as news comes in! Jarv.

Comments:Very impressive website.

I am currently a PPL student at Fife Flying Club, and have caught the bug at age 52!

Used to fly as a passenger in Shackleton aircraft in late 1960's (local ATC at Forres; father based at Kinloss).

Photos very interesting.

Maybe book some hours with you in the future.

Regards,

Hugh.

Comments:Hi guys, just thought i'd let you's all know, i passed my commercial flight test on the 1st of august! For anyone who remembers me, i flew at the club in 02 and 03 and was the Ents bloke for the club. I decided to leave the RAF after 12 years as an airframe tech to fly full time. This mean't getting a bit of money together, (which i did in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia thru BAE systems for 2 years), then i went to Australia to visit my sister and fell in love with Queensland, so decided to emigrate there...got a residency visa, and have just got my australian commercial license! Now i'm off 'out-back' to do some bush flying! Thanks to all the staff at MFC (Mick, Ange, Mike, and all the other members there who were around at the time for the flying and...just as importantly, the fun!)...hey Mick, you still got the 'up close and personal' pic of your boat taken from SCP?! Ta, Jarv. Brisbane, Qld, Aus.
