| Comments: | I loved the show, especially with Mark Frankel in it, without him the show wouldnt have been a hit with the fans. Mark played Julian so well, you could have believed that the character was real. I loved and hated watching the last scene, when i knew the would be no more episodes. It would have been great to see what would have happened with Julain and Caitlin they made a fasinating couple. The actor was totally amazing. The fans have been done out of so much entertainment since Marks passing. I only discovered Mark a few months ago but what an impact hes made. I now own Kindred: the embraced on dvd, Leon the pig farmer and my favourite solitaire for 2. I hope to get For Roseanna and im looking out for the others on tv. Wherever you are Mark Thanx, ill treasure them always.

| Comments: | i just started getting into his work.....and i found out he died 10 years ago...i feel silly and stupid that it took me this long to notice him...he shouldnt have died...there so many other people in the world everyone would miss in a heartbeat or wouldnt care if they died...but not him...it is our loss that he is gone...wish i noticed him back then. |

I remember watching "Fortune Hunter" on Australian TV way back when and I loved it. The first season was marvellous but the second seemed to had gotten off on the wrong foot and I wasn't surprised it got axed. I'm a Bond fanatic and back then it needn't take long for me to realise Mark Frankel would make an excellent 007. If it wasn't for Pierce Brosnan (who is also a great Bond)I think it would have been odds-on Frankel would have got the part. Unfortunately with the existence of the other Mr Smooth (Brosnan) and Mark's untimely demise the world never got a chance to find out. |

| Comments: | I loved this movie! Couldn't wait to tape it when it came on the commercial free PBS station! The acting, cast of characters, set designs and COSTUMES make up this wonderful love story and troubled times of Russia. Though not historically accurate (Catherine dumps Orlov at some point I believe and he is not the father of her first child), who cares right? It's wonderful and worth a look again and again, if only to see Mark Frankel's handsome face! |

bolt character played by mark frankel. I have most of the episodes in tape. He played that character very well. I had no idea that he has passed away until today. I am very sad to learn this news and my sympathies for his family. |

| Comments: | I have just discovered Kindred on DVD. It is an amazing piece of work...artistically beautiful, I like the effects with their eyes. I also like the premise of combining the Mafia with the vampire culture. It is a very clever and entrancing piece of work. I expect it was ahead of its time...perhaps that is why it was cancelled. It shouldn't have been. |

| Comments: | I loved 'Fortune Hunter' while it lasted. Another great short-lived television show like 'Probe' with Paker Stevenson and 'Adventures of Beans Baxter'.
Mind you, although the show was premised after a TV movie pilot titled 'Search' which came out in the later 1970s or early 1980s, it was up-to-date and good in its execution. May I add my vote that Mark Frankel should become the next James Bond. |

| Comments: | I did see Young Catherine on the Hallmark channel quite recently. I very much enjoyed the story, and found Mr. Frankel quite handsome and talented. I was, however, disappointed to learn that although their was SOME historical accuracy, there wasn't much. The movie itself was very good though, as a work of fiction. Well, that's my humble opinion.
Ok, please forgive my ignorance here, but I have only now realized he had passed away, and find myself quite saddened. It is truly a tragic loss of such talent and looks. shewren |
