| Comments: | Oh my goodness, I've never read anything so sad in my life! My daughter had a precious baby girl 5 months ago via C-Section and fortunately everything turned out fine. I'm going to make sure she NEVER attempts a vaginal delivery after reading these stories. There is absolutely no reason anyone should attempt a VBAC...life is just too precious! Why would anyone want to take a chance?

After feeling like I've done something wrong or never being able to experience a vaginal birth, I came across this website. I should be thankful that my children are here no matter what route of delivery. Thank you for opening up my eyes that I am considered "lucky" or "blessed" to those who are at a loss. I don't think I am through grieving yet and I don't think I ever will be. I know what you are going through and I don't wish anything like this on my worst enemy. I lost my son on october 19,2005. His name was Jayland and he was stillborn.I ask God everyday for strenth, and gets harder and harder to cope with because my fiance and I tried for so long to concieve. | Comments: | I lost my darling daughter Sara Elizabeth Anne on Feburary 13, 2005 due to a ruptured uterus during an atempted VBAC delivery. Loved your site, it gave me strenght. So many wonderful lives lost and it least in my case I lost my Sara with very little understanding of the risks of uterine rupture.

| Comments: | I thought your site was a beautiful dedication to your much loved daughter. I myself had a rupture, mine was due to neglect during the labour of my 5th child. My daughter Kimberley died and I nearly lost my life also. It was completly avoidable and as a family we are changed forever. Kimberley was our first daughter and we love her very much and always will. |

| Comments: | After having a bad c-section experience with my daughter, Grace, I wanted to have a vbac the next time. I went online when I became pregnant again and found only sites that said vbac was very safe and even found some sites put together by women who have had vbac's at home! One day I ran into an old friend who is a nurse and told her I was hoping to have a vbac this time, she warned me of it and since then I have been trying to find info on the dangers of having a vbac.I want to thank you for your site and all the info here. I have changed my mind 100% and want to express my sympathy for the loss of your daughter. |

| Comments: | I am an OB nurse in a rural hospital and mother of four. After viewing your website, my opinion of VBAC has drastically changed. I am doing everything I can to stop this practice at the hospital where I work. The institution is not even equipped to accomodate such a crisis. After viewing this website, I don't think it will be a difficult decision for doctors or administration to make. This website may have saved the lives of babies at this hospital. I have been doing some research about VBAC and came accross your Webite. I am sorry that you had to loose Mia due to no fault of yours. I am surprised there is not enough awareness about Uterine Rupture and risk, the doctors never talk to you about it!! Also they should be life savers rather than thinking about insurance coverage. There is nothing to fill up your loss. After reading your Website and looking at the number of moms having to go through all this. I am determined to have another C-Section.
