Hi, I think Demon Gate is a wonderful RPG; my only real complaint is that the demo is far too short.

Awesome, I was having so much fun I forgot I was playing a demo and was like wtf?NOOOO! when it said the demo was over.
I love the story, and talking to random people is fun. Also, I couldn't get through the maze but I couldn't stop myself from wanting to keep going on and on until they made me leave. Favorite picture in demo? Bakko holding the Uzi. | |

I loved the demo! There was just one problem. While using the relationship thing on the navigator, I somehow moved the character on the map (at least I think it was the character on the map), and the game froze up. Other than that, there were no problems! I loved the game and can't wait for the full version to come out! :) | |

This demo was really great. I also like the story so far.
I just played to the end of the demo, and then I was called a basterd, I did not see that coming, oh well I'll try the walkthrough next time. The only thing that I saw wrong, near the end, it looked like there are extra sasha on screen, but thats it. all and all, can wait for the full game. | |

Ok, played the demo and it was good, for a demo. Anyway, I liked it, good mechanics and flow, as well, you have a good idea for a story. The story seems rushed though, like you didn't have time to flesh it out and battles seem either easy or tough, starting off tough and quickly becoming easy, basically chaotic. Even though you didn't have much music at all it seemed to be in the right direction. I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but there seems to be a particularly viscious virus that has infected your site. Every time I access here, reardless of which computer I'm using, it sets off all sorts of virus alert software. You might want to consider scanning and repairing the site files. | |

A truely excelent demo! I myself use RPG Maker 2003 and have picked up many tips on town construction from playing your game. It's only a pitty the full game isn't up yet! (Although that would probably distract me from making my own game, so it's a blessing in disguise)
I did find two bugs however: 1. After you return to the palace after beating the maze, you are admitted by the guards and some of Kino's past is revealed. If you go back outside again after this point, the cutscene re-starts! What gives? 2. When you fist see the town gate in your hometown, it's stone, but when you return after delivering the package, it's wood. Also, how did you do all those custom sprites? *drool* I'm having to use pre-set ones all the time and it sux. E-mail me plz! | |

This is an excellent demo. The art is great and it's fairly awesomely constructed. The commentary at the end is great and I can't wait to see the full version.
I'd just like to use this space to point out a few glitches I noticed: 1. When you reach Kino's house for the first time, when Arin's leaving, if you enter Kino's house before she leaves the screen, when you leave again Arin will still be walking away. I would suggest you make Sasha wait until Arin leaves. 2. In the castle maze, when you get to the second area of the maze and are seen by the guard, you are moved out of the castle and, when entering into the castle again, are teleported out again. It was the kind of demo where, when it stopped playing, I wanted to cry. I want more game to play. The characters are fantastic, and the way your choices affect gameplay is really awesome. The characters are fun and enjoyable, and even from the start there's a good mix of humor. The only problems I had were with how Kyle is handled. For a wonderful character I want to keep in my party, he comes in with not one severe flaw, but three. That, and it is seriously dark at night. But that's to be expected, what with it being night and all. | |
