| Comments: | Just wanted to add my two cents -- If you've been up to Minerva & spent any significant time up there, you will know there are no words to really explain the beauty and solitude you experience. If you're reading this & have never been there, you really are missing something. I want to take this opportunity to remember everyone who was a part of the week my family spent there, every year (without a miss). As I get older and experience different things in life, nothing compairs to the beauty & magic that is Minerva....Always in my heart.

| Comments: | My grandmother, Betty Flaherty lived in Olmstedville and my brother Timothy and I would spend summers with her. We belonged to the youth program that spent the summer at Minerva lake. We learned how to swim in that lake.
My parents have pictures of us on the floating docks as babies. I remember the path through the woods to the rope swing. I remember the endless picnics we shared with our cousins under the shade of the pine trees. The water was so clean. I remeber the food from the cabana - they had the greatest bubble gum! I have such a special place in my heart for Minerva lake. I would love to bring my children someday. |

| Comments: | Sharing my name with this place that you all describe in such glowing terms, with much curiosity I've toured your site and have become quite enchanted with the idea of visiting you if I ever have the opportunity on a trip 'back East' from Arizona where I've lived the past 30 years, having moved from PA AND NJ before that. I left my heart in Pennsylvania Dutch Country then, now the town of Minerva seems to be tugging at my heart.
