I grew up on the song Come Sail Away. The Best of Times was my high school class song. Paradise Theater was the first LP I owned. I got it as a high school graduation present from my sister. I saw Styx in concert in South Carolina in the mid eighties. It was a show. Renegade is a real rocker. I'm no fan of much past P.Theater, but the stuff from Peices of Eight to P. Theater is classic glam rock that will alway remind me of the great times from '76 to '85. Styx lives forever! | |

I love your site! I can't pick just one favorite song -- they're all awesome! But I do have to say that "Come Sail Away" is the awesomest. (It's not only my favorite Styx song, but my all-time favorite of any band.) I also like "Crystal Ball", "Rockin' the Paradise", "Sing For the Day", and "One With Everything". (Mostly Tommy's songs.)

I just found out that Styx has a new CD out! I’ve been a fan of Styx ever since I heard just one of their songs six years ago. After researching them even more at UMG, I found out they have a new anthology CD out (as of May 2004). “Come Sail Away- Styx Anthology” (my new favorite)contains songs from all but one of their albums and they are currently on tour promoting the album. Anyone going to the concert? | |
