And winning all the points to get into poll position. Then win it again for 2003 now that takes some doing. It's a shame, that we only get 1 race per month. It would be nice to have 2 meetings in a month. Also it's nice to see new drivers like myself (No.132) joining the Superbanger's which is a great formula.....Let's hope 2004 is just as excellent as the past few years.... |

The first meeting with the lightning rods was great like this sunday was. | Comments: | I've been eagerly awaiting the re-opening of your site. I've been racing bangers off and on for about fifteen years and it's nice to hear people's comments regarding the sport. Team racing tends to bring drivers together and if there are any questions any of the spectators wish to ask about banger racing or the cars then ask us down the pits, it's usually clear when we're too busy or things are not going too well, that's probably the time to let us work without interuptions. Team racing does have its downside aswell, it seems some people get off spreading rumours and creating feuds between teams, there have been a few nasty moments due to someone not even envolved in the racing. Ever wondered how some drivers seem to pass others on the track as if they're standing still? Well obviously a lot is down to the driver, but also to the engine, some banger drivers can spend thousands on a race engine knowing that just one head on could turn it into a piece of scrap metal. Who said banger drives are nuts??? See you at Arena Essex on the 11th of March when all hell breaks loose!!! |

| Comments: | i have just got back from the icebreaker at swaffam and what a good meeting this was it was good to see some of the arena boys there. the new look cream team was intresting boxer jack is a great addition to the team as he won 2 races and also wrecked quite a bit aswell when needed especially when number 16 of the creamys was leading and some one tried to take him out boxer was the first to put a end to this when he lauched himself down the straight to full bore his victim great show from a lad so young. i was upset that the squad didnt show for this meeting if anyone knows there intentions for this season? please e-mail me. |
