and inspirational. I'm not a worker in church, I have been when I was younger. Now, I'm just a prayer warrior as one of our former pastors said. They are needed just like teachers, preachers and other workers. I have also been the recipient of many prayers answered. My favorite time for prayer was when I was alone in my kitchen cooking supper. I enjoyed the time just talking to the Lord as I would anyone who paid me a visit. | Comments: | Thank-you Misty, My friend has sent these to me and ironically they started when my daughter started having an affair and it has caused a WALL so big that at times I feel it will never come down. Even tho' I know that God is in control. Still sometimes when bad and rocky times comes I get discouraged and time and time again that is when a "Misty" poem is on my Email. This has been going on since Jan. 2001 and it's not getting better. Today she told me she is tired of my sh-- because I couldn't help her like she wanted me to. Well, your poems remind me God is in control.

A note of thanks for all your beautiful pages. Today's one, Through His Eyes was sent, as they say, in good timing. I've been struggling the past few weeks with the situation of helping to take care of my Mother who is suffering from end stage multiple sclerosis. That is, she is total care, bedridden, at home. She is unable to talk or communicate, is fed by a tube, etc. The frustration is not in the actual care, but in dealing with my Father, whom I love very much, but is very stubborn. My mother has been in this "total care" state for just about a year and a half and I have begged my father to allow some nursing help to come into their home to help out and take off some of the stress from all of us. He refuses and it is very frustrating not just to me, but also my brothers. So I've felt there is "nowhere to turn" other than the Lord. He has been so good to us in giving us the strength to take care of her and I pray for continued strength and guidance in this situation. Thanks for the reminder that He is always there and we must take the time to talk with Him and ask for the strength and guidance only He can give. Love, Sue |

whenever I need a moment of peace I can turn to God. He has blessed my life with such great things. My husband and I were trying to conceive early last year, and month after month nothing happened. One day, I began praying that God would enrich our life with a beautiful soul. Just one healthy baby! A few months later, we conceived and on April 12, 2001 (the death date of my uncle) we gave birth to an 11lb. baby girl. She is the light of my life and is more wonderful than I could imagine. I thank God everyday for her. The most remarkable feeling is to know that God heard my cries and blessed my life with a child. God bless all of you trying to conceive. Do not give up. Keep praying!!!! |

but acts like I am trying to be something besides his wife, his caretaker and his medicine giver, his laundress, his cook etc. I asked the Lord for tolersance and a way to show him there is only love and concern. Yesterday he called me a liar at the doctors office, then yelled at me all the way home for telling the doctor how sick he has been. I am at my wits end. This has been going on since 1987. Thank you for this message, I needed to remind myself , God is there and knows what is happening and put my patience back on. Bev |
