I would like to take this moment to say just how much I appreciate Michael J. Fox. He is such a strong person, and he has brought all of us in this nation closer together. He has not only helped those who suffer from Parkinson's, but he has also taught us all how that we shouldn't take our lives for granted. I live in Italy and I can only speak little English , I like however testify my interest and respect for the Mr. Fox's battle. I have read from little his book and I have found it illuminant. Also for we, Italian boys of the 70's, Mr. Fox has represented the incarnation of the freedom, power of dreams and wish to win. Today his new adventure proposes to us still like a model to follow. Colleen, Michael J. Fox is NOT dead. If he were to die, I can assure you it would be a leading news story for weeks and there would be no way to avoid knowing it, unless you live in a cave with no contact to the outside world. If your boyfriend needs proof of his recent existence, point him to YouTube and do a search on Michael J. Fox. He has been on several talk shows in the past few months and he seems to be quite alert and non-dead - and not in the 'zombie' way of undead. :) | |

I just want to say that I think that Michael is an amazing man. I was angry at Rush Limbaugh's attack on him. This is a man struck by a terrible disease wanting to make a difference for himself, his family and all others affected by this disease. I encourage him to continue his efforts and back him 100%. | |

im not sure how to contact you but ill try this way.my father was diag.with parkinsons around the same time you were.he is 63 and is doing remakably well.he has two brain implants with pacemakers for each.seeing you on tv reminds me of how my dad was before.he still has to take meds,but not nearly as many.he would love to speak with you as he feels a closeness to you through hes desease.again wish you the best of health | |

Mr. Fox, I just wanted to tell you that I have so much respect and kind thoughts for you and your family. I know how much it must hurt to see you go through what you are dealing with. I deal with it everytime I see my mother. I love her to death and she was diagnosed with PKD about 5 years ago. She is one of the most stong minded and stuborn people that I have ever had the pleasure of having in my life. All these people who say that you can control how your body reacts is totally ignorant to the fact that this disease does not let you decide when you are going to have a good or a bad day. Michael: I have been a fan since the beginning of Family Ties. I met you in a dance club in Orange County, CA in the 80s a few months before the first Back to the Future movie came out. It's one of the most cherished memories of my life. You were very sweet and polite to me. You danced with me and gave me a kiss!
