We have encountered a few problems that I would like to address. Inkberry...are you familiar? We are getting red leaves on it and they fall off. It is an evergreen. What is happening to it? Roses...lots of yellow leaves this year, some have black dots....clump white birch...many branches this year did not produce leaves and seem to be lifeless...the rest of it looks terrific. Any ideas what may be happening? All of these plants are in full sun and we have very clay rich soil! Help!!! |

| Comments: | I am a highschool student hoping to grow an indoor vegetable garden for a school project. I know nothing about gardening but I would really like to learn as much as I can. Eventually, once I have a home and family of my own, I would like to grown my own foods, but until then I have very limited space and resources for my school project. I'm having trouble growing vigorous Impations. They seem to be in an ideal place. I'm experienced in growing tkem for a long time, There is a big night light thst shines on them all night. Could this be a problem? Perhaps the soil isn"t right. They're planted nar the building, Is the dirt too alkaline? I have enriched the soil with peat, compost, cow manure. Can you give me some ideas? It was back in 2001 and I believe you just started your website(?) I rememember clicking on your site and being really impressed with "Garden Room", "Moonstruck" and "Butterfly Garden".
