I'm looking for an XR650R that I can buy cheap and fix up for myself over the winter. Anybody have a 2000 Model or later, in parts or whole with light accident damage or engine damage? As long as the bike is generally complete and the frame is not a pretzel or cracked I'm interested. Same for the engine, if the case is cracked I can't take it either ... not a welder. This is within 3 hours or so of Detroit, MI. Please drop me a mail with some pictures, damage description and the price. I need something that is a bit more roadworthy than my trusty CR500R SM Conversion ... nothing beats her on the track, but straight 60mph roads she doesn't like. Thanks, Thomas |
