Not because I don't care about the show - can't believe that SoapNET dropped it - but because I can't get AOL to reactivate the account which I used when I originally created this website. The website still exists but can't be accessed by the person who created it. So unfortunately this website is (like AW) frozen in time. I'm sorry for that, there is so much material that I'd like to put on the site but until AOL changes its policy, my hands are tied.

Warning to traders. Dekwc1@yahoo.com (also known as Dek or RT) is a dishonest trader. She told me that registered mail from Poland was more expensive than she though, so I had to send her another $40. She said she would mail the Love Boat DVDs out at the end of the week. No tracking number, nothing ever came. My email requests for a tracking number went unanswered. After 6 weeks, I wrote telling her that she is a crook. She said she sent the stuff, and it is a bad time since her daughter just died. Always some excuse. I said, sorry, but where is the tracking number for the registered mail. No number. Just “I sent them.” Right, you sure collected money, but registered mail is insured and trackable, yet she can’t figure out where they are? It has now been more than 3 months and no tracking number, no refund, no DVDs. Dek is a crook! Do not trade or buy from Remigius J. Roozga, ul.Bereniki 18 80299 Gdansk, Poland. Even if the email is different, don’t send anything to trade nor money to Poland. I also saw a posting the TheYoungRiders about another bad trade with Dek. So this is the 2nd posted incident. I’ve lost out, I hope you don’t too. |

| Comments: | I can't believe I'm getting all teary eyed sitting here, 6 years later, reading up on the demise of my all time favorite TV Show. I grew up watching Another World, my mom watched it from the start, and even if I missed a week or two watching it, I could always pick it up as to what was going on..
A couple of years ago, my husband and I were in the US, (we live in Canada).. and I was flipping through the channels late at night, and found an old episode of AW on that Soapnet channel... I got all sad and melancholy over it.. Even still I just dream of the day that they bring it back to us.. they can continue on from where they ended for all I care.. I just want it back!! Thanks to the actors who made it what it was.. you were a part of our lives, as I'm sure it was a part of your lives ... Hope you are all doing well :) |

| Comments: | As many others, I grew up watching Another World. It was like a family to me. It was always there. no matter what else would go on with my life, I knew that was always on to "be with". When it went, I lost a bit of my security. The one "solid" thing was now gone. Sounds strange, I know. Just this morning I came across a web site with AW pictures and my throat caught. I still feel such a loss... I live in Canada and we do not get SoapNet here. I so wish we would get it so I could revisit my old "family". Even the re-runs would be amazing to be able to watch. I haven't watched another soap since. I feel like I lost a part of myself. "You were the rain when my spirit was dry". |

| Comments: | I grew up watching alot of nbc. from saturday morning cartoons such as smurfs and gummie bears to watching Days of our lives, Another world, and Santa Barbera. I do not watch NBC anymore because They threw away their best stuff. I loved Another World and I am truly thankful to Soapnet. NBC passions is none other than an occult soap. I would never let my kids watch that horrible stuff. |

| Comments: | Wow how great to find this site. I still morn the lose of AW. I remember as a young girl, holding my sister's hand, giggling when Steve and Alice or Rachel would kiss! Mother in her easy chair. The whole world came to a stop, first for 30 minutes, then it went to a whole hour. I was so profoundly lost when AW ended. Only soap I ever watched. I have not bought a proctor & gambel product since. Another World actors and fans deserved more than they got from NBC. I grew up with Rachel, and I truely miss her and her antic's. You couldn't help but love her. Iris as well. Then there was Mac, the Monarch of the family, it broke my heart when Ada and him passed away. Please know Another World actors and actresses you are truely missed. I feel I was blessed, one hour each day for almost 35 years. To set with my Mother and sister and be in Another World. |

| Comments: | This wasn't simply a "soap opera" it was a "life" for many people and enjoyment. Unfortunately, as it seems, it was a financial move for the network to remove it. I became a fan when I would watch it with my mother... I picked up on the show LONG ago when -as I recall - a girl named Lisa was kidnapped by a "Alan or Adam Glazer or Glazier" as I recall and a Jamie ?? Was rescuing her from an island?? I don't recall what happened to their characters or what their names were. I can tell you that I miss this show. How many years later and people are still upset. I agree, boycott P&G products and NBC. Every little move we individuals make, DOES add up. Please give this message to someone at soap net. I was never so crushed when they cancelled another world i had watched it for twenty years and thrilled that soap net has brought it back. You keep switching times and i want you to know how much i love this show so please continue to make a fan happy by broadcasting this show. it used to be on saturdays and now it isn't, i used to be able to watch it if i missed it during the week. So i hope you realize how happy this show makes me and my children enjoy it too, they started watching when they were younger and now being older they can watch it again. My mother, who passed away nearly three years ago, would have enjoyed the opportunity to see it all again as I do. I think of her as I watch it every day!!! Just to see Rachel and Mac, Cass, Felicia, and Wallingford! My husband thought some one died when he came home finding me bawling my eyes out! Thank goodness I got cable.
