밑그림을 그려가고 있는 자칭 휠체어 골퍼 김주연 이라고 합니다. 이제서야 한국땅에 장애인 골프를 심어가려 하니 버겁고 어려운 일이 많은 실정입니다. 쉬운 예로 한국땅에서는 휠체어를 사용해서는 그린에 올라갈수가 없는게 현실입니다. 선진 사회에서는 장애인 골프도 이미 대중화 되어서 장애인 전용 카트를 이용해서 라운딩을 하는 것으로 알고 있습니다만 한국땅에서는 무슨 장애인이 골프를 하겠다는 것인가 쯤으로 평가되는 현실에 최 경주 선수님처럼 훌륭하신 분의 응원과 격려가 있으시다면 많은 도움과 힘이 되리라 믿습니다. 바쁜 투어 일정과 컨디션 관리에 여념이 없으시겠지만 응원 부탁 드립니다. 그리고 또 한번의 우승 컵을 들어 올려 주세요 한국의 자존심 홧팅 입니다. |

내일도 멋진 경기하셔서, 토요일엔 탱크와 타이거의 맞대결을 보여주시기 바랍니다. 결과도 물론 중요하지만, 그런 경기를 보여주시는 것만으로도 흥분 그 자체랍니다. 두근 두근! 짐퓨릭이랑 어니앨즈는 요즘 슬럼픈가봐여? 지난 주 우승자 그라운드의 왼손잡이도 2라운드에서 탈락하는 마당에, 탱크같은 질주 보여주셔서 감동입니다. 지난 주 첫날도 6언더시길래, wire-to-wire인가보다 했는데, 역시 골프의 감칠맛을 다시한번 볼 수 있었습니다. 한달에 한번씩 우승하면 사람들이 골프를 우습게 볼꺼 아닙니까. ^^; 취미 삼아하는 골프지만, 정말 엄청난 매력덩어리 운동이란 걸 매일 매일 느끼고 있습니다. 요즘 지난 주 구입한 중고 Titleist 690.MB의 매력에 심취중이거든요. 성실과 덕행. 이중에 저는 "덕"을 좀 더 우러러 봅니다. 성실한 사람도 많지 않지만, 덕인을 보는 건 너무 힘듭니다. KJ님을 보면서 어지러운 세상에 희망을 떠오르게 하십니다. 김미현선수도, 가수 김장훈씨도, 모두모두 한국의 희망의 불씨랍니다. 필드위에서나 밖에서나 항상 멋진 모습 보여주셔서 감사합니다. 토요일에 TV에서 만나뵐 수 있길!! |

This past week I spent 4 awesome days at the President Cup and was so greatful to see the best golfers in the world playing in the same tournament. On Wednesday we were allowed to get autographs and lucky enough for me I got yours. I have been watching you play golf a lot the last 2 years and love your enthusiasm when you play and your interaction with the fans. You have easily become one of my favourite golfers to watch. On Sunday you were playing against Hunter Mahan and I was standing along the green of the 3rd hole and watched you make a great putt to square the hole. As you were walking off the green I said great putt K.J. and you acknowledged me where after I made a gesture with my hands asking for your golf ball. To my surprise you handed over me the ball. This was such a great gesture and I can't tell you how appreciative I am that you did that. I plan to put your autograph on my cap and your golf ball in a nice casing in my living room which will make a great conversation piece. Your photographer was kind enough to take a picture of me with the ball after you gave me the ball and I would be grateful if he can send me this picture to my e-mail address. I average 235 but when i go for the extra distance i hit it slice or i shank it. My home course is Ould newbury. it is on route 1. You would like it there. The elevated greens are really fast. If you play any courses in the area(tpc norton) you could play there on weekdays. You could play on a weekend i guess because you are a pro and the owner is really nice. The pepsi is 1 dollar. Have you played tpc sawgrass , that course looks hard but fun. |
