I just found out about your illness and also about the Utopia reunion. My thoughts and well wishes are with you. You guys (Utopia) changed my musical life on a summer afternoon in 1974 when i saw you for the first time. I didn't know much about Todd at the time and my cousin Bob dragged my brother, a drummer friend and myself to a free concert, sponsored by a local radio station. We slept the night before in my brother's car on a dark country road and it was pouring rain all night and into the next morning. We stood in that rain but ended up with the treat of being in the front row right where you and Siegler were on stage. You guys just blew me away that day and set a coarse for me as a musician. I have forever since been a disciple of Siegler, and you're right, he is the best bass play around. I espescially loved the way he and Kevin Ellman played together! What a groove! Thanks, Moogy, for the music and the memories! I so wish I could have attended the reunion as I have been waiting FOREVER for the prospect of you guys getting back together! I was at The Cutting Room on Friday and my wife Joni and our guests and I had a great time. We are long time Buzzy fans and I used to follow him in the 70's quite a bit. I used to sing harmonies for him from the front row during his one man shows. It was a gas. I wanted to tell you that I sing for a cover band in Jersey and my keyboard player Frank Yanni used to tour with The Marvelettes, and 1910 Fruitgum, and others. The thing that I find interesting is just how similar his piano playing is to yours. You and he both have some of the exact same chops. I have always thought Frank was an outstanding percusive keyboard player and the comparison I draw to you is meant to be a compliment of the highest regard. Anyway... Thanks for bringing Buzzy out. It was a great show and although I want so bad to be at Thursday's show, I won't be able to make it. Good luck with the show. Tell Buzzy that John and Joni from Jersey still love him, and thank him for us for the joy he brings us with his music. Respectfully, John |

This is a MUST HAVE dvd for any Todd, Nazz, Moogy fan!!!! Seeing Moogy & Kevin together again for me was a dream come true. The other band members are awesome as well. Overall the quality is very good. Not a multi-cam pro shot, but nicely shot and edited from one camera. The sound is good as well. Nice special effects are used, but not over done. The old Utopia material alone is well worth the price. Kevin Ellman is one of the best prog drummers ever, and Moogy's keyboard playing has spoken for itself over many years and albums, GREAT!!! Highlights for me were "Dust in the Wind" and "Cryin in the Sunshine". The latter being a song I can't believe no one has covered. (that I know of) GREAT SONG!!!!! Stewkey's performance is stellar. It's hard to believe he has not done anything live before this. He still sounds great. Thanks Moogy & Kevin for keeping the original utopian dream alive. Buy this DVD! You will be glad you did.
