I am trying to use your E-Mail links and am having difficulty. I would like to own a robe in a long kimono style, with gold embroidery. I have seen one that I liked, but it was purchased by a friend when he was in Egypt. So, I would like to re-create something similar. If what I am asking for is not compatible with what you do, please let me know. If you are willing to explore possibilities, please let me know how we might proceed. I notice that you are concerned about harrassment. I am not a fully committed pagan, but I do attend Starwood (mid- summer pagan festival in PA) regularly, and if pushed for a religious affiliation would probably list pagan. initiated as of yet. It has been less than a year and a day and I am still sumwhat of a solo practitioner. My best friend and her husband are both discovering the answers to all of our life long questions...(All three raised in Christian families.)... together. There are soooo many books and forms of Peganism out there... some of which do not make sense and some of which that do. So far we are all in agreement that being part of nature and not above nature should be part of it, and we agree in the three fold rule, as well as several other aspects of the Pegan following. The confusing part yes, is indeed the Gods and the Goddesses... Several or just one?... Either way we don't believe that male OR female should reign supreme above the other... nor do we believe that the supreme being is one or the other. We change our minds daily as to weather or not it is a single being containing both sexes, two seperate beings creating one soul, or a completely sexless being... it is a constant debate between us... and we have all argued each of the points, meaning that we have all changed our minds several times. Reading the article covering the same subject leaves me to believe that no one really knows what to believe and I am glad to know we aren't the only ones... We could however use any tips or pointers that you may have for new followers. We are trying to read all we can and friequently find web sites to browz. I am not ready to go far from my home to actually practice in my rituals... but I know no one in my area.. I am fearful of using magic, I have always felt a strong pull towards the practice of communing with the dead and had a bad experience once... is there any way to protect yourself from allowing unwanted spirits into your circle? Or is it the circle that protects you? My experience was not in a circle but was with a Ouija. I only wish to practice my peaceful magic with peaceful spirits... Thank You Jill |
