| Comments: | Please NEVER hold a cockatiel alone or in a cage. It is an unbelievable torture for the animal. They are smart and social, and it's like putting a single human being for his whole life in a cage with animals which he can't understand or talk to.
Although they might seem satisfied to the owner because they sing, this is not an indicator for the cockatiels well-being. Please remember my words and hold them at least in pairs and let them at least fly around in the flat or house, for the sake of their lovely little soul. |

| Comments: | I enjoyed meeting Amadeus! Also I'm sorry for your loss, it must be hard -- but the song goes on with him on the net. I've two cockatiels, Zoe and Beaker. Both are about ten years old. Both are female, and thus don't share Amadeus remarkable vocal talents. Zoe is a fan of JS Bach. Beaker doesn't tell her preference. We're in Kansas, USA. Here's a video we enjoy, from Brazil. Sadly this talented little guy died as well in an accident. (You may have already seen it.) Be well!

She has been enjoying the winter months watching the snow flakes fall and flying around in the house. She is 6 years old, and the queen of the roost!
