| Comments: | G-d willing my daughter who is about to be a Bas Mitzvah and I, with Hashem's help, are are planning a trip to Israel for about five weeks this summer. We are very friendly with your brother Pinchas Steinerman in Passaic NJ, we had lunch with him last Shabbos!
We need guidance! I am hoping to spend a solid three weeks in Tzfat, learning Torah, because I believe Tzfat is the place to be in Israel. It is my hope, that my daughter can also experience Tzfat maybe as a camper, and if not then maybe even as a mother's helper teking frequent day trips etc. The last ten days or so of our trip would be the site seeing which I can not in good faith ask for assistance with.
Mainly I ask for suggestions on where I could stay and learn in Tzfat say from mid July (arriving anywhere from to say July 13 thru July 20th depending on airfares etc) and remaining in Tzfat at least through August 10th maybe the August 16th. I would think the ideal place to be would be at the wall for Tish Ba Av. My daughter Dinah's Hebrew birthdate is Gimmel Av, while mine is Gimmel Tammuz, when I will be 48. By the secular calendar I am already 48 years young, but I'll take the extra days!
As far as finances I would not say that money is no object, however we are clearly not destitute. I have started the process of looking into various options available through Nefesh B'Nefesh as well as other private funding.
I kind of figure that no matter what kind of programs that might be available, that being in Israel on vacation, will be like being on vacation anywhere else from the point of view that I am sure that we will be going through whatever money we bring, like one goes through water.
Again the best thing I can do is try to make a plan that makes sense. So both my daughter and I can can maximize our experience in Israel.
After all knows, I might soon meet my Zivug, and end up making aliyah to Israel, particularly Tzfat.
