| Comments: | I have a bunch of great memories listening to music in high school.Let's active will always occupy a special reserve spot in my mind,evoking images of the Russel House ball room in December 1985.I bought a SG the spring of 1986 before my 16th birthday and taught myself how to play.My two older brothers took me to concerts all the time and my favorite was after a Tommy Keene show at Rockafellas,you were playing a glittery telecaster and YOU GUYS ROCKED! My brothers and i played together but it was always at the hobby level. I auditioned for the Average Cadavers once but it was a disaster,i never recovered.I have been married for 14 years and we have a son age 12.He started the 6th grade this year in AAP and i managed to convince his teachers to let him try the violin in the orchestra.He really is very smart and excelled making the A honor roll.Isaac also learned to read music and boy can he play.I found a two disc cd at my local sounds familiar about two months ago with afoot and cypress on it and told my wife and son about a brief happy time in my growing up days.My father died on labor day 1976 and my brothers were seperated until 1983 after being bounced around children homes.It was hard to reconnect and there was no encouragement except the occasional psycho thermometer or religous benge.The three of us somehow made it out alive surrounded by vinyl and a york stereo.My room was our room we had a china syndrome in there a complete melt down which led to my two brothers going out on there own together.They made it to Seattle but my brother Joe became unraveled and decended into despare,he suicided in Corpus Christy September 1996 20 years to the day our father died.The happy ending is that i have managed to forgive everyone in my mind that ever did me wrong and concentrate on the core group of people in my life now. |

Also have some info on the following: Bandola - This Info Was Submitted By Carlos Quintino From Portugal , Whose English Is Prolly Better Than Mine...I Never Knew About This ! I saw a live show in New York City in 1992 by a band called the Chamberlins...featuring Mitch, Mark Bandola (from the band Lucy Show) the old bass player from China Crisis and some other guy. They said they had recorded an album but it never seemed to have come out...great songs too. (most written and sung by Mark Bandola. |
