| Comments: | Try raising your right hand high and saying "1", keeping it up and then raising your left hand high and saying '11'. It works so well to teach the kids to recognize 11 quickly. Say The ball is on the bottom. Six is for kicks! and then do an art project that involves cutting out a 6 and gluing a white circle colored like a soccer ball to the bottom of the 6. for 9, say 'sun', pause and draw the circle, then say 'shine 9' as you finish by drawing the stick down. then reinforce with a craft where kids cut out a big blue paper 9 and then cut out a yellow circle and yellow rays and glue that on the top of the 9. Both really really work to teach identification of numerals 6 and 9!!! I got this idea off the Internet, but forget the source, sorry! Hope this helps someone else! |

I have found some CD's on Amazon but they do not have the tune that is sung in Mrs. Kling's Class song. Do you sell any CD's that have this song, capitals song, Preamble etc.? Or just the State & Capital songs? I would like to purchase a DVD that shows a map of the US and the states and capitals w/ songs to help learn them.
