As I've gotten older I've realized that not everything has to be important. More stuff should be irrelavent and frivolous (even more stuff should be spelled correctly).
When I first got on the web in '92-93 there was really only personal pages like this or government sites online. THAT was the best time for the web. Today it's corporate greed digitized. Buy this, send your CC# for blah blah blah. ACT NOW!! All the sites behave predictably. Links work flawlessly and the animations arrive and leave with no drama. Netscape doesn't grab your machine and flog it anymore and everything is just boring to tears and oh so polite. Even the porn was in black and white. No, I don't think everything older was better either. Indoor plumbing is great and I don't miss South East Asia issues at all. It's also nice to see more folks viewing women as fully human. So no, I am not a Luddite. I'm just sick and tired of being sold everything and threatened to do this or that. Humor and art has a genuine place in this world.
