| Comments: | So far we have the following people coming to alumni weekend: Jessica Pedrick, Eva Pappas, Erin Peterson, Kari Skolnic (sorry don't know married name), Barb Buckbee, Lori Thompson, Megan Cox, Shannon Morrison Hopkins, Aurora Bushner White, Nichelle Graham, and possibly Courtney Pistelli. However, we only have 8 or 9 that will be playing in the game. (so far) Doc said our game was at 12, so we will be at the field, (29th street) at 10am for warm-up. I have asked Doc if we can allow alumni to attend the banquet on friday night at a reduced price if you are not planning on drinking or eating while there, I will let you know what he says.

| Comments: | hi. i wnated to let you all know that alumni weekend is scheduled for the 28th and 29th of april. the banquet will be held at the four seasons around 7 ish (time may change). we are looking forward to an alumni match and it woud be great if we had an idea of how many of you are interested. also, as a fundraising idea, we are thinking about selling our jerseys to the alumni and current players. so if you are interested in buying one, please let me know as you can have first dibbs. i just talked to jessica, and she said that some of you are for sure coming in for alumni weekend. some of the girls have apts, so if you don't want to stay in a hotel, we try to put you up in some of them. as for our current season... its going well, we have been practicing for about a month now. we have around 20 girls. and all of our dues and certifications and stuff are up to date - which is very exciting. we are playing eku at home this weekend , march 4th. we play kenyan away april 1st and miami away april 8th. we are playing in the teapot dome scandal on aptil 22nd. we had another game but xavier canceled. anyway, we are excited about our season ahead and i hope to hear from you about the alumni weekend and the jerseys.

It's nice to see that you guys are checking in with the "team." Aurora, Chris, Lori and Nichelle I miss you guys! Things here in Cincy are great. I play rugby with the Cincinnati-Dayton Women's Club. It's a lot of fun and very organized! We just won the Ohio Women's Championship at the Ohio Classics!! Anyway, I wish there would have been an Alumni Match this year. It would have been awesome to play with everyone again!!! There was a formal last weekend (April 29th)that we were unfortunately not invited to. I work in a research lab at Marshall right now but in August I start medical school here at Marshall! It's weird to still be here on campus and none of the people that I knew are here now. | Comments: | hi, alumni! just wanted to let you guys know that we have a full season of games scheduled, but no home games which stinks. we have a bunch of new girls, so this semester is going to be a learning experience. but in the spring, i think we will do very well. we are alright with the ou and with being cipp certified. we still need more money though, if you guys could think about fundraising, and have any ideas, please let me know. i would like for the alumni to be more active with the team and the players, i am not sure how though. i wondered if you guys might like to get together somtime this fall/winter and have a social of sorts. you are the ones that have brought marshall women's rugby this far. i hope that we continue on strongly. also, we are attempting to get the site figured out, so that it can be updated. we miss jess! well, i hope to hear from you all. |
