| Comments: | It was my sophomore year at college and I had gone into my dance class at 9am. I had dance straight through till 1230. I didn't know what had happened. I stepped out of my class into the student center at my college and for 1230 was shocked that there was NO ONE around. I went down the stairs and took a left around the corner to find everyone huddled around the tv. I ran back to my dorm to find my roommate crying and the phone rang. It was my mom. I watched in horror the repeating images on the tv. As I frantically called my family in New York. I was the last one to get through at 1246 pm that day. Fortuneatly i lost no family that day, but i did lose a love of my life. He was deploid on his sub two years ago today and I haven't talked to him since. |

| Comments: | I was at school at the time of the 9/11 attacks (in the 8th grade, I'm in 9th now). I thought that what had happened was just an accident, but as I learnt more,I saw that it wasnt. I didnt sleep for many days after that, nor did I eat. That one event had effected me soo much. I'll never forget all of those people whose lives were lost that one tragic day. No one will forget them. United We Stand 4 ever!! |
