Moments after our arrival, Andy showed us where the hummingbirds perch, and I unceremoniously fell into the hot tub.

THINGS I WISH I'D SAID WHEN I FELL IN THE HOT TUB

1. Could someone pass the soap?
2. You should've seen me when I was a drunk!
3. So, which branch do the hummingbirds perch on again?
4. Come on in, the water's fine!
5. Wha??!! You guys are GAY??!!
6. Sorry, I thought I was at the Playboy Mansion's grotto.
7. Well, darned if you weren't right, the water IS 90 degrees today!
8. Know any good personal injury lawyers?
9. Oh, it said the spa was clothing OPTIONAL.
10. And me without my rubber duckie!
11. It's a good thing the spa towels are so thick and absorbent; I might've gotten even more soaked!
12. Did you see that?! That hummingbird just totally attacked me!

We had a great time, Andy. Wish we could've met Tim, but we'll try to come back in Winter next time. Thanks for all your hospitality (and the tip about the awesome True Value hardware store).

Dear Guys,

Thanks for your recent hospitality and a great stay. I especially enjoyed my "office" next to the umbrellas table and hot tub! It was really nice to be able to amble downtown for dinner every evening then return to chocolate chip cookies or pie or whatever. My doctor will be contacting you!

I amanged to walk off with one set of your keys so will mail them back soon.

Andy and Tim -

Thank you for being warm hosts during my stay at the 333 and my first visit to Palm Springs. I enjoyed the treats you gave me, which took me by surprise. When I tell people what I did during the day, I would tell them, ". . .and then I went 'home' to the Bed and Breakfast." I felt like I was at home with you guys. After seeing the resorts in Palm Springs, I prefer to come back to the home atmosphere at the 333. Thanks again.

You really do have the biggest heart! Two years ago I was with some Cochella Music festival go-ers at the Palm Springs train station at the wee hours of the morning. We had no car, no plans, and no way to get anywhere. You drove us to your inn and gave us a free space to stay! I don't know today what we would have done without your kindness. I am forever greatful!

Key and I would like to thank you both very much for the wonderful time that we had at the 333 Bed and Breakfast over the New Years holiday weekend.
You guys are fabulous hosts and, Andy, the gourmet breakfasts were AMAZING !
We particularly enjoyed the very convenient location of the 333. It was great to be able to walk to many of the local clubs, shops, and restaurants. You guys are great at what you do and you obviously enjoy it, as it comes shining through !!!
We wish you much continued success and we will certainly be seeing you the next time we visit Palm Springs.

If you're ever in PS, you need to make sure you stay here. I've stayed in dozens of b-n-b's through the years, but none as accomodating, inviting, quaint, and pleasant. Tim and Andy went above and beyond the role of hosts, offering thier friendship. As I often do, I asked for suggestion on places to eat and hang out. They were extremely accomodating with thier suggestions, and even joined me on occasion. Andy also made time to take a few of us guests on a private tour of the windmills on the hills outside Palm Springs in his Jeep (ask him about his Jeep, he'll tell you all about it...). He even made sure to help all of us take pictures, and printed them out for us, placing them on our breakfast place-settings the following morning. I am extremely gratified for thier hospitality, and I will make sure to stay here again when I'm in Palm Springs. I have a feeling that next year, getting a room at the 333 for Coachella is going to be very difficult...thanks for everything! Adoro 333!

Hi there Andy & Tim,
Many thanks for making my first Palm Springs vacation at the 333 B&B such a FABULOUS one!

My mother and I were overwhelmed by your generousity, thoughtfulness, and wonderful personalities. I have already told three friends about your B&B, and I plan to tell many more friends about it in the days ahead.

Thank you too, Andy, for sharing your memories of Ms. Biscuit with me. My husband Michael read your letter to Ms. Biscuit a little while ago, and was deeply moved by your words.

I can't wait to stay at Palm Springs' 333 B&B later this year with Michael.

Warm regards,
Debby (& Mina Kaller)

P.S. I'd be thrilled to be quoted on a future 333 B&B brochure if the chance ever presents itself.

Hey Guys!
I've been meaning to sign in here for the past 3 months to tell you how great our stay with you was.
4 of my friends and I came to do a 100 mile bike ride in PS in February-- looking for a nice warm place to ride after a very wet No.Cal winter. Your hospitality was so NICE! There is nothing like having a hot tub to soak in after a hundred miles on a bike-- not to mention the great breakfasts and the extra special BBQ. It was great meeting other AIDS Lifecycle riders and training ride leaders that weekend, and we feel we made so many great friends too! See you on the ride in June- and thanks again!

They had everything we could have needed printed off and had anything we could have needed ready in our room for us. You will never want to go home after staying with them (Yes, the boys had to convience me to come back to Houston). Thank you so much for making Coachella such an amazing experience for me. We'll be RSVP'ing with you for 2005!

I was looking for lodging in PS and emailed these fine gents. I quickly got a response saying they were regrettably booked but that they'd keep their ears open for oter lodgind. (I though, "Oh, right.") But then, not a day later, I received a very sweet email from Tim with other hotels and b&b's that were available! If this is how they treat people who aren't even their customers, I bet they really lay out a red carpet for their guests! I look forward to staying with them in the not-too-distant future.

Hi Andy and Tim!
I am very impressed by your website! You two are indeed a power couple. Andy, the letter to your cat touched me. It's so nice that you shared that on the site. I have two cats that are very dear to me also. Isis and Annie. And my brother and sis-in-law have a loved cat, Rudy, who was just diagnosed with diabetes and needs insulin shots twice a day. I'll email them a link to your site. They'll appreciate the loving tribute to Ms. Biscuit too. John and Kay live in Grayslake, IL. Who knows, maybe they'll be guests at your B&B some day (they travel extensively)... however maybe not, because they take their daughter Emily with them everywhere, and Em's only 6. I will get the word out whenever I can about your B&B... I know a lot of people, through friends, family, but mostly through my job at RCC. I volunteered one year at the PS Film Festival and had a blast doing so. I'm excited at the prospect of spending the night in PS and exploring the city further. And I'm particularly partial to sunsets.
I really enjoyed meeting you both yesterday at Dave's and appreciate the friendly and engaging nature of the Cardenas family. I'm the 7th of a family of 8 and miss the chaos of it all. The last time we all assembled together was in Estes Park, CO, in 1995. I miss my family dearly, but we are close in spirit and memories. I had a wonderful childhood as an Ehret in our big Victorian home in Hinsdale, Illinois. Maybe that's one thing that draws me so close to Dave... he feels like family. And I can't resist his artistic flair.
Blessings to you both, best wishes of continuing success and love from Julia
