Was over at the Sportsmen's site and saw the link. What a great site and a true reminder of great music and days gone by. Did Reno take the Blue Ox photos? Those shots of you and Willie are priceless.

Like Patti - I often pop in for a visit to see what you are up to - just feels the right thing to do on a Friday afternoon before finishing at work. I am overwhelmed by the richness of loyalty, love and of the friendships you and Diane are surrounded by. What an inspiration to everyone you both have been in so many ways.

You always make me feel good when I have popped in for a visit. I am so happy to be related to you both.

love and hugs to you both

Dear Charlie: I stopped in tonight as I do often and I was reading your comments about Dennis. I love to look at the pics of Dennis: Staring out on the lake, in his 'bozo shirt' with Willie. It always makes me laugh and always makes me cry. I am proud and happy that you have allowed me to take lessons on his guitar. I know what it means to you. Feels like the 'three little kids' are together again!

Hi Charlie,

My son Max and I never met you...we just heard plenty of good things about you. I worked with Diane at Prism for a while some years ago now. I got an email a while back from that gorgeous wife of yours that made me cry. You could just feel the love coming off the page as you read it and I have been looking for some words for you ever since.

Diane was such a source of strength for me once as I am sure she is for you everyday and you for her. I hope this message finds you continuing to fight like hell and find some meaning in all the struggles you have had to endure. I will continue to think of you and Diane often and send positive thoughts of love, healing and a promise of a long life growing old together.

Dear Diane and Charlie,
What a wonderful job you did creating the Magee Reunion web site. I could just cry and did reviewing all the memories of such a great trip. Memories like those cannot be recreated but we can always try at the next reunion.

There were six Magee siblings, Margaret, Mary, Jimmie, Anne, Tess and Kate who produced these 19 first cousins. Now with the death of our Mother ( Mary ) on July 26, 2007 it leaved only Aunt Anne (age 92) in Canada as the surviving Magee sibling. The original Magee clan produced a very creative and diverse group of offspring. Many are talented musicians and vocalists and other have hidded and some not so hidden talents. I can't imagine what the next generation of Magee clansmen will acconplish.
Again thanks to Diane and Charlie for keeping the memories alive.
Love Anna ( Joanne )

Hi Charlie
Just heard about the snow. Bet you wish you were back in Annacloy. Sadly everything here has gone back to normal (or as normal as possible Magee style). I'm afraid Asda in Downpatrick has suffered trading loses. They have blamed the downturn in trade on slumped sales of wine after the Magee re-union!!!!
Seriously, I am missing all the good sessions we had and hope it won't be too long before we can have a follow-up re-union.

I hope you and Diane had as much fun at the family reunion in Ireland as I did. It was amazing that 15 of our 19 first cousins were able to attend. The company, music and food was outstanding, three cheers for the host family's in Ireland for over feeding us and helping us consume all the red wine in Downpatrick. All the family get togethers were very special. The multi-talented Magee decendents were fantastic. From Dan and Louise's singing and your talents on the guitar and vocals, each gathering turned out to be a historic event. I loved each one.

What a great job you did with this. It's brilliant! All these old pictures really bring back a flood of memories. I fee very lucky to have many of the people in these pictures still in my life. When I look at the old BLUE OX picture I remember why all the girls wanted to be my friend. (ie. are you really Charlies sister?!!)
Keep up the good work. I'm reallly looking forward to the STS event.

Nice site, Charlie! And who said South Buffalo boys would never amount to anything? The Savios stuff is great..how do I leave a story? Ever hear of a legendary North Buffalo guitarist in the 70's by the name of J.R. Weitz? The guy and his band were so hot they probably self-ignited. The drummer was manic. They used to play at local bars...something of a cult band, but fabulous, along the lines of John McLaughlin & his Mahavishnu Orchestra. Play on!

Hi Charlie
I have met Diane over the email and have been chatting away. I have always been interested in music myself and have recently bought an epiphone gibson guitar which looks great but I am annoyed with myself as I haven't picked it up to learn how to play yet. Any motivational tips!
Take care and best of luck with your dream book

Hey cousin Charlie - what a brill site you have. Will either have to fetch your cousin Mick into work with me or I'll have to invest in internet at home. Does the heart good to listen to your music - maybe we will all get together in Ireland in 2005. In the meantime, we are all thinking of you and the family in Cape Town, South Africa. Luv to all the family
