At a news conference Thursday, Nichols commended the cooperative efforts between several departments and credits that cooperation for the fast pace this case is moving through the court system. Nichols says he hopes to move the case to trial on the first day it's set. The four are expected to make their first court appearance within ten to fifteen days. This is certainly a case garnering a lot of public interest, Nichols recognizes that and says he expects all kinds of requests filed in this case,including a change of venue in order to receive a fair trial. Although I was very young and did not understand the degree of seriousness these things entaled I did feel a certain comfort when my Grandmother told me what these letters stood for. I grew up in a racially divided neighborhood and suffered much taunting of my own being one of only a few white children who would actually step foot outside. In my opinion White American have more rights than any other person in this country. Well, I have read your site, and find most of it to be interesting. I can most definately agree with the abuse of the confederate flag, as i am a SCV member. As to other issues like us becoming a minority, we will all become a minority in time. With mixing of races going on, in about 300 years everyone will be the same colour anyways, so i dont think that it really matter, as to the colour of our skin. So maybe your orginization would be better labeled as the NAASP. National Assosiation for the Advancement of Southen People. We as sontherners, are discriminated aginest white and black, by northern agression. We as sotherners, are concidered stupid by the yanks. We must break down the race barrier, and identify the fact that we are all the children of god, we were all created equal, we must all share this little planet, and move on with life. I do not belive in destroying peoples haritage, as mine is southern, i had relatives that were confederate soldiers, and i am very proud of them. The real problem isnt between white, black,mexican,or asian, it's our own self. We have allowed the north to teach things incorrectly. Is there some kind of college fund for White kids? Or perhaps you fight to get laws changed? Or do you organize any sort of protests on advertisers who pay for obviously racist programming on television such as Miss Black USA or Black Entertainment Television? I agree with everything that I've read on your site, but my question is do you actually do anything about it?
