I live in the Netherlands and "The Border" was broadcasted on our local TV station for the first time. I thought it was an interresting serie and decided keep watching it. Then in some episode I saw this girl, which looked better then any other I had seen and I had to find a name for this beautiful face. This turned out to be Sarah Podemski and led me to your website.

Hi,
I'm wondering if I'm related to you. My grandfather's name was Podemski when he came to America back in around 1910-1915. The name was changed to Podems back then. His name was Herman, and he had 8 brothers and sisters. One of them was Benjamin Podemski, percussionist for the Philadelphia Orchestra for 30 years. There was also a brother named George Podemski (he had no children), but I'm not sure about all the others. I am 46 years old, so perhaps one of your grandfathers/mothers or great grandfathers/mothers was a brother/sister to my grandfather. Do you know anything about the Podemski side of your family? Ahneen, she:kon, tansi and hello! :) I just wanted to say that ALL the Podemski sisters are simply beautiful. What can I say. :) Native women are the finest looking. ;) Sarah..... you're doing great in "Moccasin Flats"! :D I'm looking forward to all the future episodes. Actually from what I've heard in an APTN interview with Laura Miliken a while back, she mentioned something about there being a full length movie on "Moccasin Flats" coming out sometime in the future. :) At least that's what she said. I don't know, maybe she was speculating...hard to say. That would be way cool! I can't wait for that to come out. ;)

This is in response to Karen who, unfortunately, didn't leave an e-mail so that I could personally respond to her message.
Karen, I am sorry you were so dissappointed with my performance at the Native Centre. As you may have noticed, the evening was not a Tamara Podemski concert, rather a mix of many artists squeezed into a short period of time. It was not an issue of my priorities, but of scheduling, and when the evening was running 45 minutes behind, the musician's priority is to be respectful to the other artists so that everyone has enough time to perform and my allotted time ended up being reduced to 10 minutes. Your harsh judgement of my treatment of my fans is very upsetting because it is innacurate and unfair. There were other things going on that night (behind the scenes) that were beyond my control and yet I sang and talked and danced, and had fun, despite it all. I am sorry to lose you as a supporter, but if you were truly the fan that you claimed to be, maybe you would have given me the benefit of the doubt before attacking me. Also, maybe you would have had the respect to write to me, personally, instead of purposefully embarrassing me on my message board without giving me the opportunity to write back to you.
